If you turn on 'Raw Input' under the graphics settings it should sort this out.

(not tested this myself but confirmed by chaps on reddit that this works...)

Top tip: if Roach's fear meter gets too high you can use Axii on her and calm her down.

Just a note: When you level and select an ability, do not forget to go to the section in the middle of the screen with the padlocks, select an empty slot FIRST then apply the skill, and it will activate.

Before I buy this, will I manage atleast 30FPS stable on Medium or whatever?

I have a alienware m17x r4 with a 7970m , 16 GB ram and comparable i7 and I managed ok with it.

Hair works off for me. AMD card so obviously won't work well for me. But borderless window mode , 30 fps in game limit, high details apart from medium shadow's. Fps showed solid 30 fps for me. Good enough..

Near the start, after they read the letter and 3 Ghouls appear, my game goes to black screen and all I get is sound. I need to hard reset.

Has anyone else experienced that? Obviously it's a game breaker.

Performs very well with High/Ultra settings at 1440p with; 2500K @ 4.5 970gtx.

Imported a save from W2 - do you loose all of your gear?

16GB GeIL EVO Leggera DDR3 1600MHz
Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti OC

and a 5 min test last night gave me a constant 40 FPS on all low settings in the starting area, didn't get a chance to test it further, but given that the 770M scores ~30% lower in benchmarks here:

I think it may struggle a bit?

Once you get to the open world part it actually runs much better

I thought I'd run worse? I've only tested around the beginning camp and down the road a bit, maybe I won't need to drop the shadows, how much better does it run?

Ah no he said the starting area, I figured he meant kaer morhen right at the start. This area was a bit laggy for me until you got to the open world game.

Only AMD 3xx series card that will beat what is around just now is the R9 390x. The rest are just rebrands. The R9 390x will likely cost somewhere in the region of £600, with perhaps the GTX 980 ti somewhere just above that.

Unless you are looking to spend those kinds of bucks on a card, then no point in waiting.....
