I'm off work for 2 weeks following surgery so have had time to play this again.
I can't believe it's taken me 10 hours to get around to completing "Ugly Baby". So much exploring and stuff to do, this game is crazy.
As for Kaer Morhem... I really like Lambert now, he's my fave witcher
The whole series of events at Kaer Morhen are brilliantly written and executed. Really enjoyed peeing off Yen and getting teleported above the lake and of course, had to annoy her again by trying to get some bitches in
Triss is far nicer than Yen IMO; Yen is a real cow.
BTW did they introduce scaling to some quests or something, because a few I've done that are below me were actually quite tricky. Or maybe I'm just really rusty.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt cleaned up at the 2015 Golden Joystick Awards, picking up five gongs including Ultimate Game of the Year.
The Witcher 3 also picked up awards for Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design and Best Gaming moment for the Bloody Baron Quest. CD Projekt Red was named Studio of the Year.
Corrected my post, I meant 100 hours, not 10! Jesus what a time sink.
Once thing I notice about this game is that you're rewarded for exploring. I've found some great stuff just looking around where there weren't even any point of interest markers (question marks).

I'm currently in Velen at level 10 and I've just finished the Bloody Baron quest line. Should I go to Novigrad now or do a few more side quests first? I don't want to be over-leveled for Novigrad or Skellige.
And quests, yes. Generally I follow paths that don't seem to lead anywhere or look for things in the distance and follow them. I love exploring and grabbing screenies.
Was doing the last part of the Bear School(part 1) treasure hunt and got stuck. In the castle where you pick up the last 2 parts, the gate does'nt open when you pull the lever, so I am unable to get out. A couple of wraithes are meant to appear as you walk towards the gate, but they don't. Have tried replaying this, numerous times and the result is the same.
I never had this issue from my last 2 play throughs in normal game.
And since patch 1.11, I have had the game just completely stop working, a few times, no crashes, no BSODs, just closes. Also find my cursor changes sometimes when I'm in Inventory, etc., and items flicker when the cursor goes over them. Having more issues in this one game, than I did in my 2 previous games combined.
NG+1 Just for the gwent card game,(i skipped all gwent stuff on first playthrough) i want a monster deck
Yeah ive had issues with mobs not dying in ng+, i just save and reload
At 1080p, in the Square in Novigrad, my CPU hits 100% and bottlenecks my 980 Ti. The game can utilise 8 threads so my 4 thread processor is now showing it's age. Same goes for GTA V.
I'm at level 23 so far and have stopped playing the main story to go off and finish the secondary quests that have built up in my journal. I'm enjoying it so much I don't want it to end and I think that's a sign of a great game!

I generally dislike these stupid "waifu wars", but Yen is much more interesting character and Geralt's true love, even if she can be abrasive and unpleasant at times. However she always has a reason for that. Geralt did some stupid/bad stuff to her. Calling her "real cow" is reductive and shortsighted.
