theHunter: Call of the Wild

Yes. You will only find Fox, Roe, Fallow, Red, Boar & Bison in Hirschfelden. Coyote, Blacktail, Whitetail, Elk, Moose & Bear in Layton Lake.

Has anyone else got an issue with aiming while crouch-walking forwards? Going side-ways or backwards is fine - as is forwards if I am stood up. But as soon as I crouch-walk forwards, I lift the rifle as though I am aiming down the iron-sights, rather than look through the scope. It's really annoying. I'm sure it hasn't always been an issue.
Cheers

Well I put some time into hirschfelden tonight, its a nice change from the pacific northwest.
The strawfields are easy money, the wide open expanses mean if you catch a herd out in the open you can easily down 4+ in one sitting, must have got at least 16 fallow/roe using this, the hunt to find the runaways were a little sketchy but i found every animal i shot. the hogs remain ever elusive, i hear the odd warning grunt in the distance or signs of recent disturbance in feeding/bed down locations but not set eyes on one yet.
I did have a run in with a rather P'd off Bison, to be fair he took two .270 to the right lung and still kept charging me! it was a spine shot front the rear that took him down eventually, the big ******* nearly left me dead.
All in all a very profitable hunt!

No crashes so far for me either, only played 4 hours so far though but am enjoying its relaxing atmosphere particularly with some noise cancelling cans on.

Went for a walk last night rather than doing any of the missions just to appreciate some of the scenery and maybe bag a kill or 2, came across a rather large railway bridge which was basically Bear city and looked stunning. One of the gits murdered me from behind while I was stalking another one but plan to go back there tonight!

some people get no crashes they are patching frequently since launch i think we should have another patch this week.i have had a fewe crashes myself but less since i updated to newesr nvidia driver.

No crashes here (Touch wood!)

I hope a patch comes for the menu system, it's not very clear for a lot of things. Is anyone else able to navigate the menu with a controller? Not the end of the world, I can pause but then have to use a mouse to navigate.

Ok, the animal view distance appears to work like The Hunter Classic, in that you can see animals further than 500m if you are higher than them. I was at the lookout tower in west Balmont scanning around and pondering what to do next when I saw a bear down by the lakes at 530m. Sadly didn't have time to take a shot at it though.

Same. Play with a controller and nav the menus with a mouse!

I have a quite awkward way of playing, mouse/kb for most of it, when I'm stalking and require to sneak, I pick up the xbox controller and move with left hand and mouse to aim/shoot with right hand.

Can anyone confirm if this is a general bug or just me?
