Good Job Opportunity South East Wales

Hi all, not sure if threads like this are allowed? But I hope it is helpful for someone;

I work for Welsh Water, and within my team, there are two vacancies, one agency with a strong possibility of going permanent, and a permanent job - links:

Agency:
Awesome Agency Position

Permanent:
Dwr Cymru Vacancy Site

They both pay extremely well (£10.21 p/h and £19,706 p/a), considering you only need GCSE's and a driving license.

You get given a company van (free travel to and from work) and full uniform provided. The job involves travelling to various assets around South East Wales (Cardiff, Newport, Merthyr, Rhondda Valleys, Hereford, Monmouth etc), and visiting customers properties.

Really good opportunities - like I said, I hope this helps some people as I know some of you are looking for jobs/career changes.

I would be your line manager if you are successful, so feel free to PM me any questions.

Thanks and good luck! :)

Doh, and there's me just been promoted this week otherwise very tempting.

I used to work for Thames Water and spent most of my day wandering around streets and fields or driving around South Oxfordshire. Really enjoyed it.

I agree, I was a sampler for about 2-3 years and have worked my way up, it is a brilliant job!

Also, congrats on the promotion!!

exactly my thoughts, the agency job has been up for about a week, and we have only 3 applicants so far! Hard to believe considering skills required vs salary

I'm surprised people haven't snapped it up. We had some essentially van driving jobs and had 100s of applications though funnily enough ~95% withdrew their application on finding it only paid NMW - management can't seem to comprehend that no one is going to take them up on it when they can get paid in the region of £10-12/h elsewhere for the same job :S

Glad it's not just me that thought it was strange not to get a mass of interest!

Where are all these jobless graduates the news is always telling us about? Brilliant way in to the industry
