GCI is recruiting for:
Senior Unified Communications Engineer based in Manchester
and
Senior Network Specialist based in Wakefield.

Darn... I live in London and work pretty much exclusively with JIRA and Confluence at the moment, but I'm out of the country on the 4th of March.I need 20+ consultants.
If you know anything of any Atlassian tools and want a change then think about these roles. You can work from anywhere in the world if you've got the skills:

If you don't know the Atlassian tools but have consultative skills and can make it to London on 4th March then apply anyway and we'll probably invite you down on that day to drink some beer, have some pizza and get to know each other to see if we can work something out.

BigT;30489312 said:Mixed depending on the location. Leamington Spa needs pretty decent level, London we have junior and senior roles.
BigT;30489580 said:You have a linkedin request (I hope!!)

I'm in the learning stages at the moment so I'm trying to get a better idea of how to become employable as an entry/junior developer in the future.
BigT;30491043 said:Are you based in London? That's where the most junior roles would be and depending on what you are looking for, there's always opportunity to learn on the job.
I've read your other threads on here about getting into IT and the speed with which you picked up Java. We don't particularly require people to have degrees and we're open to all sorts of backgrounds even for junior positions. If we think you'll fit culturally and you show a strong desire and have something about you then there's always an opportunity with us. In the last six months I've brought in a guy who is in his late 50s into a pretty low level service desk job and hired a graduate whose career was destined for something completely different and everything inbetween.
Trust me your email address if you want to talk further.
