Specific Job Description
As Information Assurance Engineer you will report directly to the Information Assurance Engineering Manager. Your primary responsibility in this role is endpoint security operations for both LMUK and Endpoint operations across the entire Corporation.

Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):
- Information Assurance and Endpoint Security operations, monitoring, hardware/software updates, tech refresh, security configuration management and sustaining engineering for the Corporation’s Information Security
- Support for endpoint nodes, product support, system integration, policy management, change management, customer support, and technical support for McAfee Endpoint protection products.
- Provides endpoint security implementation and upgrades in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering.
- Assesses and mitigates endpoint system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis.
- Performs system planning, testing, and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.
- IT Service Management and Change/Configuration Management for the hardware/software on the endpoints and supporting infrastructure.
- Secondary support for Network security system operations, monitoring, hardware/software updates, tech refresh, security configuration management and sustaining engineering for the Corporation’s Internet Gateway security infrastructure

Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Experience with endpoint security products/controls, enterprise protection strategies, enterprise operations, and systems engineering processes.
- Experience with product support, system integration, customer support, customer care skills, and technical support.
- Experience using and troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems, Office and other applications.
- Experience in supporting Windows client &/or server with a focus on security.
- Knowledge of least privilege concepts and how to apply them.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Effective written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
- Willingness to carry an "on call" mobile phone after hours
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evening/overnight and weekends (as required).
- Ability to travel (as required)
Desired skills, qualifications and experience
- Experience with McAfee security suites with focus on ePolicy Orchestrator, VirusScan Enterprise, Host firewall, Host Intrusion Prevention.
- Experience with Data Encryption and Least Privilege concepts.
- Experience in non-Windows environments, such as Macintosh, Linux/Unix.
- Information Security or Network Security Certifications.
- Experience developing and following processes, templates, instructions, presentations and progress measurement material.
- Experience working on enterprise programs/large site technical support.
- Demonstrated knowledge of policy management, change management and IT service management processes.
- Experience with scripting or the ability to create and modify configuration policies.
- Experience with Check Point, Juniper Networks, Cisco and/or Palo Alto Network firewall hardware/software operations.
