Thorney Motorsport

Surely this is going to backfire, again? It's quite obvious what actually happened.

+1

The wording of that is defiantly not the guys own, and the quotation mark is a nice confirmation too.

Also in one of the deleted threads (I can't remember which) someone said how Thorney Motorsport, Dunsby Road, Redmoor, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK6 4AD use their bullying tactics but then once they've failed always buy the car...

Might go do a google maps search of them, call it a hobby :D

Actually, it really isn't. If you take one side at face value and chose to ignore the other because the bloke has internet forum form then it may seem that black and white, reality and experience tells me it rarely is. I'm not here (and have not) defend anyone but I do know that sometimes customers will simply make stuff up and heavily embellish things and create a big noise because they feel hard done by and taking it to the internet is bound to get you support from the masses (with no inference to Lawsy I hasten to add), see this thread. Customer feels annoyed, vendor offers resolution, customer doesn't accept and things get out of hand as both take to the web (MISTAKE!!) and an internet debate with people who have zero understanding of the facts ensues and we are where we are. Put everything else to one side on this one and I feel this perhaps summarises what went on here. Both people failed to cover themselves with glory, issues have been dealt with off line (the right way) and both people are now happy.

Suggesting this was done under duress is also incorrect I'd suspect no matter what legal letters may have been sent to this web forum. Just my 10p's worth, not sure it will stop the debate however. When you run a business you will appreciate how hard it can be sometimes, how you can **** up, more than once, even when you only try to do it right. Can't please all the people all the time, the ones you don't please are the ones you always here from (and who tell the world) the ones you do just get on with their life, thems the breaks.

As you were men.

Hahaha, Thorney has launched his own TV show where he is referred to as the "Tuning Expert"

http://www.ultimatecartuning.tv/

John Thorne is the classic car enthusiast turned tuning expert.

As founder of Thorney Motorsport, the UK’s largest specialist Vauxhall and BMW tuning company, John’s history of competitive motorsport makes him perfect suited to be the technical expert on the series.

The first episode is online, I started to watch it then decided I'd rather stick a soldering iron where the sun doesn't shine.
