Hold forward and press X to win
That doesn't work, you have to be a certain distance away from the edge before jump actually works, that's why I walked off the edge in a number of those attempts, jump simply did not activate. Happens on any ledge too. It's because everything is large-scaled I think. When you walk, a single tap forwards is a big step for Lara for example. You can't fine-tune Lara's positioning, with modern controls you can fine tune the camera and angle, but the movement pacing remains the same (large paces), with tank controls, fine tuning is basically zerowalk to edge, move back once then run and jump
I did on PS1 way back, and then on MSDOS laterWatching that tells me hes never played the originals
KB tank controls. You can't jump sideways or backwards using modern controls. No controller yet but tank controls would be the same as KB on a controller anyway.
Ok just finished the tutorial in Lara's house, I now know what's what, amazing how much is forgotten since the 90s
When Lara says at the end "I better take of these wet clothes", the game returns to the main menu
So now you know to walk to the edge, litte jump back which set you up perfectly for a running jump?Ok just finished the tutorial in Lara's house, I now know what's what, amazing how much is forgotten since the 90s
