With DM on this one. He's a good player for sure but very over hyped.
It's like anything with so many English fans, Zlatan didn't score when he played an English team, therefore the other 50+ games he plays a year are meaningless, he's crap I tell you. Kroos hasn't scored all year but scores against Utd or Arsenal.... or the magical best team in the universe... England, bestest player in Europe.
Morata has a lot of potential, but I can't see him suddenly firing your team to the title or anything.
He's probably wanting out, Benzema is in great form, not a chance he's leaving even if they did buy a Suarez or Costa, he'd stick it out for a while. Jesse is scoring and looking frankly better than Morata. He got a few games earlier in the season before Jesse started getting games. Since Jesse has been getting games and Benzema's poor patch disappeared I'm not sure he's played any significant part in their season.
His three goals were 1 in a 5 nil drubbing of dead last team in the league, 1 in a 5 nil drubbing of Almeria.. similarly crap, and 1 against Levante. Nothing to write home about.
He wouldn't get starts at Arsenal and I can't see any reason he'd sign. Look at Bendtner or Vela, young strikers looking to break through aren't exactly looking at Arsenal the same way young strikers/midfielders were looking at Arsenal up to 2004. Morata would basically end up like Bendtner if he joined, he'd be second string never used and eventually we'd sell Giroud and buy someone else to start never giving him a chance.
Griezman is currently a VERY good player, and cheaper/younger/fitter than Podolski. Better, on current form yes, but best to best, who knows. Griezman can still improve though and could potentially be one of the best strikers/wingers around. If we bought him it would probably be to play from wide left/right wings rather than as a lone striker, so still wouldn't fix our biggest problem in reality. He would be much better upfront than Giroud, FAR more pace, far far better shot, and uses his strength better, but relatively small. interplay is as good as Giroud, I just don't think Wenger would buy him and start him up front, same way he doesn't play Podolski there.
I'd love us to buy Griezman, but I wouldn't want him to be the only striker we bought. He can easily improve the team but we need a genuine lone striker unless we change the way we play quite significantly. A front three of Podolski, Griezman and whoever on the right would be devastating on the break, but might struggle in the pass it around the edge of the box possession game.
