Morata has a lot of potential, but I can't see him suddenly firing your team to the title or anything.

Who knows:confused:, if he does have a lot of potential then if he does come to Arsenal i really hope he shows what he is capable of and thats scoring 20-30 goals for us.

But as i said earlier id rather us go out and spend the money and get someone who is known to score plenty of goals for his team...who?? i have absolutely no ****ing idea.

If we get both Morata and Draxler then i wont be too disappointed although Bayern are looking to snatch Draxler themselves in the summer.

... he [Wenger] hasnt won a trophy for god knows how many yrs now:p.

After watching Vieira (PV) vs Keane tv program, it shocked me to learn that Arsenal have not won a trophy since PV was sold. In hindsight, Wenger should've hung on to him.

I do wonder what Arsenal's aspirations are. Do they NEED to win the title or a trophy or are they content with getting by winning no trophies, but advancing into the top 4 of each competition.

I only hope that the Man Utd board do not follow the same example, ie. as long we make the top 4 in all competitions, we are content with not wining any trophies.

Not seen much of this kid but seems like your typical Arsenal/Wenger signing.

Wenger confirms Arsenal interest in Griezmann

The Real Sociedad forward has been in impressive goalscoring form this season, earning him a France call-up, and the Gunners boss says that he is on the club's radar

The 22-year-old has been in impressive form so far this season, scoring 19 goals across all competitions to help his side into sixth place in La Liga.

Arsenal remain in the market for a striker to reduce some of the goalscoring burden on Olivier Giroud, having failed with January moves for Alvaro Morata and Miroslav Klose.

New Messi joins Barcelona.

New Barcelona starlet Halilovic is like Messi and Iniesta

The 17-year-old Dinamo Zagreb attacker has decided to join Los Blaugranas this summer, and ex-Real Madrid man Robert Jarni thinks the Catalan side will suit his talents perfectly

Former Real Madrid defender Robert Jarni has likened new Barcelona signing Alen Halilovic to Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta.

The 17-year-old Dinamo Zagreb midfielder had been courted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid, but revealed this week that he has agreed to join Barca at the end of the season.

Vertonghen to Liverpool? ***
I can't see us selling one of our key men to a club who next season, having acquired European football, will be as stretched as us and competing on about the same level.

If he was to leave for Champions League football we'd sell him abroad.

With DM on this one. He's a good player for sure but very over hyped.

It's like anything with so many English fans, Zlatan didn't score when he played an English team, therefore the other 50+ games he plays a year are meaningless, he's crap I tell you. Kroos hasn't scored all year but scores against Utd or Arsenal.... or the magical best team in the universe... England, bestest player in Europe. :p

Morata has a lot of potential, but I can't see him suddenly firing your team to the title or anything.

He's probably wanting out, Benzema is in great form, not a chance he's leaving even if they did buy a Suarez or Costa, he'd stick it out for a while. Jesse is scoring and looking frankly better than Morata. He got a few games earlier in the season before Jesse started getting games. Since Jesse has been getting games and Benzema's poor patch disappeared I'm not sure he's played any significant part in their season.

His three goals were 1 in a 5 nil drubbing of dead last team in the league, 1 in a 5 nil drubbing of Almeria.. similarly crap, and 1 against Levante. Nothing to write home about.

He wouldn't get starts at Arsenal and I can't see any reason he'd sign. Look at Bendtner or Vela, young strikers looking to break through aren't exactly looking at Arsenal the same way young strikers/midfielders were looking at Arsenal up to 2004. Morata would basically end up like Bendtner if he joined, he'd be second string never used and eventually we'd sell Giroud and buy someone else to start never giving him a chance.

Griezman is currently a VERY good player, and cheaper/younger/fitter than Podolski. Better, on current form yes, but best to best, who knows. Griezman can still improve though and could potentially be one of the best strikers/wingers around. If we bought him it would probably be to play from wide left/right wings rather than as a lone striker, so still wouldn't fix our biggest problem in reality. He would be much better upfront than Giroud, FAR more pace, far far better shot, and uses his strength better, but relatively small. interplay is as good as Giroud, I just don't think Wenger would buy him and start him up front, same way he doesn't play Podolski there.

I'd love us to buy Griezman, but I wouldn't want him to be the only striker we bought. He can easily improve the team but we need a genuine lone striker unless we change the way we play quite significantly. A front three of Podolski, Griezman and whoever on the right would be devastating on the break, but might struggle in the pass it around the edge of the box possession game.

How much is he earning at Bayern? I bet he would get more at UTD since he would probably be one of our best players and most valuable assists.

Imagine thiago and Vidal in midfield with Reus/Kroos/Mata playing infront of them.

Yeah right.

Imagine Rooney/RVP/Kagawa/Mata.

Sounds good

Imagine Rooney/RVP/Kagawa/Mata.

Sounds good

Too many of those players prefer playing in exactly the same position

Mata and Rooney may be capable of playing elsewhere but they come alive at the No 10. position (imo totally different to the earlier comparison of Robert's where imo those 5 players would work very well together)

**Of course its never going to happen**

Sounds about right. Dzeko has been a loyal servant to City but he needs to be the man and not second or third fiddle.

David Luiz to Barca is looking like it is back on.

Barca renew interest in Luiz: The impending exit of Carles Puyol has led to Barcelona renewing their interest in Chelsea's David Luiz, reports the Daily Telegraph. Puyol announced yesterday that he will leave the Catalan giants this suummer and a €30 million (£24.7 million) is now expected for the 26-year-old Luiz. Barca hope to conclude a deal before the World Cup and the report adds that while Luiz is not agitating for a move, it is understood that he would be keen to join the Spanish club. Barca had a formal bid for the Brazil international rejected last summer with Chelsea resolute in their view that Luiz is not for sale.

Inter Milan in for yet another player.

Getting Gotze was ok but then going for Lewandoski and now Ilkay... come on. Its not like Dortmund are keeping you guys from winning anything.
