Dortmund have said in the past how they are not going to sell any more players to Bayern (although if they are allowed to run down their contract, im not sure what Dortmund can do about it)

At the end of the day if the player puts his foot down, and refuses to negotiate with any other club while refusing to extend his current contract, not much the current club can do.

Anyway - Kroos will end up getting a raise at Bayern and they will in turn forget any interest in Gundogan

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic will join Inter Milan in the summer.

The Serie A giants have confirmed the 32-year-old defender has signed for them, ending the remote possibility he might be persuaded to stay at Old Trafford.

Vidic confirmed his intention to end an eight-and-a-half-year stay at United last month.

He joined the club in 2006, and has made over 200 appearances, helping them to five Premier League titles.

Cheerio Nemanja.

Saw this the other day. It sums up everything that is wrong with Utd at the moment, and why Kagawa can't get a look in even when he's on the pitch.

It also shows just how spectacularly **** Ashley Young is.

That was interesting to watch. Cheers.

Same here but City wont sell him to us for that fee, if anything they would want double the fee. Also i dont think City would want to sell him to us seeing as we are a rival and having him in our squad would make us stronger than we are now.

Still not the right striker. Remember that with Wenger, it's one player to be a favourite, everyone else to be benched. If we want to win anything we need a completely all around striker. Giroud is big, immobile and can finish inside the 6 yard box, otherwise crap. Dzeko is big, more mobile, can finish inside the 6 yard box(usually), can finish other goals from further out, is still fairly limited in terms of turning and running at defence.

Dzeko is at his best with an Aguero type ahead of him, Arsenal under Wenger won't provide that. Quality isn't always relevant, I think Sanogo's overall performances have been poor, poor finishing, not great passing, but HOW he played is a different matter. He ran at defences, he worked the defence, that opened up the entire midfield for us to push in to and play better. We HAVE to get a striker who can both hold up the ball when required, play people in behind due to the type of midfielder we have but also be fully capable of taking a player on and driving at the defence. That is the biggest part missing from Giroud's game, completely and utterly absent, and Dzeko is barely an improvement in that part of his game.

At the very least we need to get a good striker who is fully capable of running at a defence like Sanogo did(but with a lot more quality, he might get there in time but to win a title you need the finished product now, he's for the future if at all). Someone who is for all intents and purposes the "anti-Giroud" to complement him, so we have both options available. If we can, we need someone capable of every part of a forwards game and there is really no reason to settle when we can afford 40mil on a player and 200k a week wages.

The kicker is that Higuain at 30mil was a steal and precisely this kind of all around player. Griezman is a very very mobile striker with a cracking left foot, might be a tad lacking in terms of holding it up/size but he is strong and he's young and may improve further(he's not by any means terrible and his interplay while on the move is great). I kind of hate diego costa, but that type of player, strong as an ox, capable of getting from the half way line to the box with the ball and scoring, great all around player. There are many strikers who are good all around players and we certainly need to pick one of them up. Dzeko, who I like a lot actually, has his limitations and where he's his least good is where we lack the most with Giroud. We need to start buying the players we need(Flamini) rather than the player who is available and pretty good but not actually what the team needs(Ozil) to actually win things in the future.

Don't believe for a second that Dani Alves wants to leave or Barca see him as expendable. Without Dani in the team, Barca aren't the same attacking side.

Barcelona could be prepared to offload Dani Alves this summer, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all understood to be interested in the 30-year-old.
