Anyone know if that Tom84 will be posting here again this season? He disappeared after United were having a shocker of a season before Christmas i think.

He was one of the most deluded fans i have come across :D

I hope not, he was insufferable.
It also tells a lot about him that he disappeared when his team encountered bad times, he's probably posting on Liverpool or Man.C. forums now.

Ahh, I had my run ins with Tom but he wasn't so bad once you got used to him. IINM he vanished before the season even started. Fergie retiring really hit him hard.

Sunderland bid 2.5m for Will Buckley.

He is a very quick, very classy, very good player, and one of my favourites. We are low on players atm and desperately need new quality people in. However....BITE THEIR HANDS OFF!!! He is so obviously a spent force. He did his hamstring last season(well, every season tbh) and since he came back he is terrified of running at anywhere near approaching top speed. Don't Sunderland scout players?

EDIT- actually, that article must be a crock of ****, as it states that Poyet will not bid for Borini due to injury concerns. Nobody is injured more than Buckley!

Don't need to scout when Poyet was his manager :p

They want Byram who is in a similar situation, he's physically fine now but hampered by injuries last season and even before he's consistently playing they've bidded for him.

Illori is supposedly about to join Bordeaux on loan. With Agger reportedly wanting to leave rather than be 4th choice, Toure also linked with a move away and Wisdom already out on loan, Coates is being given another chance?

Not sure that makes sense. Poyet's comments over the last couple of weeks, since Borini's injury, have been fairly positive and still hopes to persuade Borini to join.

Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either, mainly due to the fact that Buckley is much more of a crok than Borini. The Borini bit at least sounds like conjecture.

Once again though, I hope Poyet's comments come back to haunt him....seem to remember him saying Buckley was a 10m player when he was his manager;)
