Nobody has said they're pants. Had somebody said to you last week you were in for Falcao, I'm sure you'd have questioned the deal.

Today is the first I've heard of the RvP stuff and if he is out for a long time then it changes things but another high profile striker when you're so weak in other areas is hardly the first thing you'd think Utd need.

It's only been recently reported that he may need knee surgery.
 
Falcao is a gamble but them so was RVP and look how that turned out.

Fair play to Woodward

Hope Arsene is at least out of bed this morning. If he is planning on Sonogoals as our main ST we are in trouble.

I imagine it's people just getting their own back after years of being told every player was a mercenary that signed for someone other than United. :D Now it's United signing the mercenary's it's not so funny anymore :(

Not sure if I've missed something, but a lot of places saying Hummels could still be a viable option for United. Why didn't they offer a chunk of cash with Kagawa?

Are they even being linked to any defenders now?

If that's the case and it's set in stone that LVG wants to play 3-5-2 then fair enough.

With Utd paying so much to get him (And Di Maria) you have to wonder why they've not been able to sign a top CB and cm though. I'm sure if you'd offered similar sorts of wages and fees to Hummels et al then they'd have signed too.

How would anyone know?

We may well have done but he's chosen to stay with Dortmund. Benatia wanted CL football. There's not many CB out there tbh.

There is a difference with stockpiling players you don't need and buying exactly what you do need when your squad is not of a standard it should be. But you know that but can't get over the fact we sacked Moyes because he was **** :)

what you have to understand Tomb is that Falcao is nearly, nearly as good as Vela in DM's eyes.

falcao (especially at over 20million for one season) is not what Man u need though?
 
Micah has landed in Florence ahead of a move to Fiorentina.

Will likely be a loan deal until next year then if he decides to stay there we will get a small fee like we did with Barry.

Will be interesting to see him in the Serie A and if he can ever rekindle some of the form he showed in 2011-12.

Guidetti, Nastasic and Sinclair also to leave today.

Who knows. Most players/agents have a price though and if you offer enough they'll ignore CL football. Falcao has for 2 years on the spin.
 
SSN reporting that we (Everton) might be in for Nastasic.

Good signing if that happens, specialy after saturday :(
