I think he is underrated going forward, he isnt in the Luke Shaw category, but he isnt terrible and I thought he was much better going forward than defending when he was the squad in 2012/2013 - To be honest I wouldnt have him as a starter, but he could do a decent enough job if called upon (a bit like Flanno this season).

I would bomb Johnson out regardless - seems to have no desire left.

Its just a shame all the decent young FB's seem to be left sided. Shaw, Moreno, Rodriguez - If i was to choose one of those it would be Ricardo Rodriguez ***** over the other 2 imo. However I think we shoud be going for established over potential which is why our LB target should be Marcel Schmelzer.

Liverpool Echo are now running with Alberto Moreno being our top LB target, so seems to have lots of legs.

Do people really think we're going to get rid of 10+ players? We would have to bring a massive number of players in to counter act not only the outgoings but also the fact the squad needs bulking up with quaility anyway.

The players looked ****ed in May this season and that was playing a significant number less than we will be next season. No way will it happen.

How many of the players that are likely to leave have featured much, if at all? We could (and almost certainly will) lose all of Reina, Coates, Kelly, Robinson, Coady and Assaidi and we'd still have a bigger squad (with Suso, Wisdom and Borini returning & Moses and Cissokho leaving) than last season.

You've then got to ask yourself whether it's worth keeping Wisdom, Suso, Borini, Alberto & Aspas just to make up the numbers or whether it's worth cashing in on a few of those and buying 1 or 2 players that have more chance of featuring often.

Lucas and Agger imo are the only big decisions and will depend on the size of any offer that comes in. They can be improved upon and if we get a decent fee for them then I can see them moving on.

My guess would be Reina, Coates, Kelly, Robinson, Coady, Assaidi, Alberto, Aspas and one of Suso or Borini will go and then it's 50-50 on Lucas and Agger. Even with the 2 loan players leaving, we'll be between 4 and 6 (if both Agger and Lucas go) players worse off than last season and I think we'll sign between 6 & 8 players plus we'll see a few youngsters feature more.

It's all good and well wanting numbers but if the manager won't play them like Rodgers didn't with Alberto and Aspas then it's pointless. I'd rather have a 18 man squad that all feature than a 20 man squad that the manager only uses 16 of.

Sport Mediaset in Italy are saying Man Utd are trying to buy Vidal, and have offered £27m but Juventus want £36m.

Would be possibly the best signing we could get... but I've no clue how reliable the rumours are.

If you manage to find buyers for all those players it will be amazing. Truly manager of the year to shift that amount of deadwood

When Jenko had a run in the team at the start of last season he looked ok.

Personally I don't feel Sagna will be as much of a loss as some people think he'll be. Yes, defensively he's much stronger than Jenko, but going forwards he was so frustrating. The amount of attacks he killed simply by running towards the opposition's goal line before turning round and playing the ball short did my head in.

Sod all chance we'd get Vidal in my opinion, if he was available there'd be plenty in for him. We'd need to blow the wage offers of Cl clubs out of the water to compete.

This pretty much, Sagna was decent but as long as we get someone in who is as capable or even better than him then i dont think we will miss him that much. Plus hes getting on a bit so invariably will probably start to slow down, heard hes meant to be talking to City in the next few weeks about a transfer to them but i cant see him taking Zabaletta's starting position tbh.

Ive heard rumours about us getting Serge Aurier of Toulouse to replace Sagna, seems like the price is £7mill and hes meant to be very good from what i have read. Plus hes young, 21 i think...meant to be a decent young prospect.

Jenkinson can slot straight into the side and in my opinion he's good enough. Still very young and needs to work on the defensive side of his game but he's more than quick enough and he doesn't need at least 50 attempted crosses before one actually connects, unlike Sagna, :p

Spurs need to keep Llrois and Vertonghan. Get a good left back. thats the back sorted.

Midfield wise, build around Eriksen, decide on how we want to play. I think the squad is good enough, just need the manager to pull it together and make it work.
