Does 7.10 come with the new gnome vista style menu?

Should I use the same apt: command to get DVD's and MP3's working as I did in 7.04 or is there a new one??
7.10 got.
Is there an easy way to get all the music and video codecs in terminal, rather than trying to open a file up and it saying "oh **** you don't have x, want to download it?"
Cheers
edit: found something, nevermind

If it has fallen over there then it's crashed.. are you upgrading, if not I'd just recycle the power and start the install again..right - with this release i've gone back to Ubuntu!
trouble is its stopped on 15% of the install (Detecting file systems) and hasn't moved in hours!
what should i do? I have no idea whats up with it.
sorry if i babbled on, had a couple of drinks
