UEFA Euro 2012 - Group D - ** spoilers ** (England, France, Sweden, Ukraine)

Personally I think England can qualify, just don't expect free flowing football. Roy will have them organised and I believe teams will find it hard to break them down at the back. I can see England winning there games all 1-0, but then again I could totally wrong and they go crashing out the tournament in last place !!!

I think we'll lose to France, Sweden is usually a tough one so maybe a draw against them, then I think we'll beat Ukraine. With them results we'd probably need a bit of luck to get us out of the group.

There is only one thing that can happen against France.

England are going to need lots of vaseline.

The current squad has to be the most pathetic of the entire competition.

Its so obvious that they will probably not even get around 35% possesion against France.

They are simply better in every single position, bar the goal keeper.

Its laughable. Part of me wants England to get rumped, just to bring the sheer arrogance of this bunch of players back down to the tolerably obnoxious most English Premiership footballers have, rather than the silly highs of actually believing they can win the tournament!!! LOL.

That is just not true. I will be very surprised if England manage a win against France.

I'd agree with the front three. Ribery, Benzema & Nasri are a lot better than anywhting we have expect rooney, who is obviously suspended.

But...

Ashley Cole >> Evra & Clichy every single day of the week.

Gerrard & Parker are at least as good, if not better than better than Cabaye & Diarra.

Frances centre backs are also suspect (probably not as much as ours however).

I've not seen much of Debuchy @ lille I must admit. But, surely if Glen Johnson does not have (an inevitable) nightmare he should not be put behind such a player?

I dont get your post, you say England have better players but will be very surprised if they win?

England have one of the weakest squads of the entire group, and I dare say it? of the teams in Euro 2012 too.

I read the first part of your post and was about to say of the entire tournament, but then I saw you already did

We really have no options. Just going to be sat in our own half hoping to get a corner kick goal from the longball up the pitch.

To rub salt into the wound, I got England in our works sweepstake. I might as well just lobbed that money out of the car window half way down the bypass.

I can't understand why they are putting the last games of each group on at the same time on the same day!?!?! This makes no sense.

All of them state 19:45 ko times according to BBC website.

England are now so bad its embarassing.

The FA need to wake up, as its not exactly a good advert now for the Premier League with the National side being so utterly dire.

It does not reflect well.

It's so the final results come in simultaneously and it won't bother the players, and makes any dodgy fixing harder to do. Things like that, it makes sense.

Are you here just to keep repeating that?

Well if we don't concede then it's a step in the right direction :p:p

After that Germany embarrassment it would be nice. We may as well have just have not bothered defending.

I would have liked to have seen hodgepodge take Adam Johnson, can't help but think he is a better option than Walcott/Downing.

I will inevitability be sat watching these games, just like everybody else.

I think the Sweden game is a key game, even more so if we lose against France. Need 3 points from it, nothing less.
