Honestly, if Russia pull a move of trying to use Transnistria to attack Ukraine after staging transparent false flags then Moldova should use that as an opportunity to retake the breakaway region. Russia won’t be able to help as long as Ukraine holds.
I’m completely ignorant of that region/conflict so no idea if they’d even want it back though.
They already have there were some mysterious explosions in Transnistria taking out television transmitters a couple of day ago blamed on teh ukrainians though why on earth would ukraine suddenly attack their nearest neighbour who they've had peaceful relations for decades now they're stopping all men of fighting age from leaving the territory... its Russia's current play it by the book false flag ploy they did exactly the same thing in ukraine some mysterious explosions in the russian backed part of teh country followed by blaming it on the ukrainians despite them having no movements in the area which was followed shortly afterwards by russia's invasion of ukraine.
So expect a push from Transnistria into Ukraine by russian troops hoping to meet their other troops coming from the east in a movement to cut off and surround Odessa most likely. Moldova is just about the poorest state in europe and only has 5000 troops they aren't taking over anything
And how many of these does Russia have? Not many, and those it does have won't enter service until next year. Even if Putin launches them and chooses to target them all at the UK, they will not take out the UK's counterstrike capability; even leaving aside the sub-launched nukes.
Its Kim Jong Putin's latest missile demonstration sabre rattling... and about as meaningful. It exists but so do ours.
