Unigine Heaven 4 benchmark

Intel Core i7 2700K running at 4.5GHz/1.28v

8GB Corsair Vengeance 1866MHz running at 2133MHz/1.6v

EVGA GTX 780 Ti SC running at 1250MHz/1.150v (MEM set to 2000MHz/8000MHz QDR)

Any tips on how to push further?

Turn off hyperthreading on your CPU - it will run more efficiently and does not need the extra threads in Heaven.

Make sure you are running windows basic to reduce vram workload.

RAM speed makes very little difference in this bench and overclocking it can even have slightly negative results.

Yeah, thanks for tips, already disabled hyperthreading.

Clocked processor to 4.8GHz and score went down...

Maybe PCI-E 2.0 vs PCI-E 3.0 is holding me back, although I read somewhere that no GPU released can yet fully saturate the potential PCI-E 2.0 bandwidth...

Use PCI-E 3.0 this should give a few more points.:)

So just ran H.4 everything at stock > 4820k:3.85GHz + SLI 670:980/3004.

Results> FPS:63.0 / Score:1587 / Min:22.4 - Max:142 FPS.

Just ran this to see how she runs, looking forward to keeping you busy when l start to overclock and come back with the score's.

Loving my new x79 build can't wait to see how she fly's.lol:D

Hi kaaps, just a couple of clicks in the Bios> EZ MODE-set my XMP Profile 1-memory:2133mhz:11.11.11.31.2t them set my PC mode to Performance Mode, saved and exit. Then back into windows, ram CPU-Z + WPrime my 4820k is rinning at 4.2GHz with CPU Vc:1.312v not bad couldn't be happier. Will leave it at that for just now as l still have to reinstall all my game's with this being a fresh install of W7.

It is good to see your new system up and running.:)

For the scoreboard don't forget to use 8xAA

Don't worry about it, I have done the same over at Overclock.net

I posted a score that should have put me top of their table then someone pointed out that I had the quality set to High instead of Ultra.:eek:
