United v Arsenal **SPOILER**

I don't blame either of the players tbh. I blame the FA. If they had been more harsh/actually did something it could have been different. I.e. watch the punch, the FA didn't even look at it. If they had they AFC might have felt he was punished and not reacted.
The FA should fine players much worse than they do now but its never going to go away. Personally i dont remember the punch your talking about, doesnt mean it didnt happen, but am i right in saying Keown punched Van Nistelrooy at Old Trafford a year ago?

Either way i'm sure the final outcome of today wont effect the eventual winners of the league.

I'm sure he did. Either way i'm not so bothered.

Plus i've had this same sig for 2 years and its not caused any problems. Unless the no gif image rule was introduced in the past 2 months? Until then i'll keep it unless someone says otherwise.

It does break the rules, read the faq, could you change it please.

Cheers.

On a positive note, I thought Ronaldo did very well, frustrated the Arsenal defence and mid field and put in some excellent crosses, occasions where I was screaming for him to shoot, would have been an excellent game for him to get his first goal..

They have changed the rules, brought some daft ones in

Must be if you don't agree with them.

Bossman, just make sure it complies with the rules in the faq.

andi mate, i know your upset you've every right to be and Jazz you seem to thrive of posts like his, so andi you got what was coming to you there!

So please just leave it.

Most of my post count has come from posts like that :D I have a bad habit of picking apart posts hehe ;)

I'm just trying to argue my points across, unlike about 1 yr ago I don't get wound up anymore, as you can see from my replies none of them really have been posts which are gonna annoy people on purpose.

Also haven't seen u in a football thread in a while, took this match to bring u back heh ;)

Ronaldo was decent, he gave Cole problems but Cole did well to keep up with him most of the match

When they asked about the red card incident and whether paddy was provoked he said no comment hehe. When they gave him the man of the match award he was suprised, can't quite remember what he said.

Hopefully Chelsea will win the league and shut you lot up ;)

lol, would make quite a change wouldn't it ;)

To be honest i'm happy as long as a southern club wins the premiership :p (even better an eastern but thats a tad unlikely)

Watched the game today and was fine until the last 10mins, I don't think I’ve been that angry in a long time (why I decided to post now :)

IMO:

-Viera deserved a red, simple decision really he retaliated.

-Ruud dived? wtf  imo he was right to jump away like someone said before would you stand there while someone took a swing at you?

-Ruud was the bigger man for walking away after that ugly muppet and the rest of the Arsenal team provoked him at the end, typical Arsenal really so no suprises there!

IMHO Arsenal need to be seriously disciplined, this sort of behaviour for a "Top Club" is not acceptable and they need to be made an example of.

Also don't Viera now miss some important matches for Arsenal?
:D they have a tough few games ahead and have nobody to blame except themselves for the situation they have put themselfs in, fully deserved IMO.

Should be interesting when the two teams meet at Highbury!

On a side not wtf is all this "DVN" business about, yeh real funny

Mate was telling me about an article in some paper where fergie was quoted as saying "One of my players [clearly Ruud] was throwing himself to the ground too easily, so I had a word and told him it wasnt acceptable", and if people got off his back and watched for a bit, you'll notice he's taken note, and battles and fights now rather than go down under pressure like before..
