triggerthat?

you quoted me but didnt answer

will 4mb go to 10 ?

I don't see why not. All the other upgrades in the past have updated the whole line of packages. And it would be a bit silly to have a 4MB package, then a huge leap upto 20MB with nothing inbetween.

It's a shame that I can't get Virgin Media, however I'm anxiously awaiting BTs response to this. ADSL2+ maxes out at 24mbps downstream in the best conditions, and BT currently only offer an up to 8mbps service, again in the best conditions. Virgin's 10meg service is already a lot better than the majority of BT customers can hope to achieve, and 20mbps just totally spanks it.

BT can't just sit there charging effectively the same for an up to 8mbps connection that Virgin are going to charge for an almost guaranteed 20mbps service, and 21CN is still a long way off.

How are BT going to add value to ADSL connections without performing the technically impossible?

for those currently on 10mbit and 20mbit, whats your ping levels in games ?

20mbit is all well and good but if your on high contention it could really suck.

My 10MB is really slow. Newsgroups are 300kbs same with gamefiles.virginmedia.com :(. When I rang up I got to a asian call center and put the phone down :(.
This may be a suggestion right out of nowhere, but did you consider talking to the person who answered the phone?
