nope. it's the internet bandwidth usage. also my network usb hub is disconnected so it not that.

pretty much impossible to be getting more than the 1.5mbps, these cable modems run off a config file and i doubt yours gives 3mbps

config file says downstream 53000000 bps which = 53Mb and upstream 1750000 bps which = 1.75Mb. so i'm getting alittle more than 1.5Mb

Mine says the same but i think you have to remember overheads etc, my speed tests are as shown

getting my 50 meg installed tomorow sick of crappy skys internet connection, london is really crap for asdl 2 lines most i can get is 3mb/s

so really looking forward to some speed

Speed test always given the results it should no matter what internet connection i use, but i tend to use real download facts rather than speed tests currently downloading at 5.95mb/s more than happy with that, first few days it was abit flaky but now its rock solid.

yeah. tbh when i was on 20Mb package speedtest worked fine but on the 50Mb package it doesn't..
anyway my real download speed is 6.37MB/s i'm happy with that.

Mine are strange been doing some tests i can only seem to hit 5.9mb/s on usenet with newsleecher but if i use altbinz or newsbin pro i can hit around 6.2-6.3, normal sites if i use a download manager i can hit around 6.2 as well strange.

If I can get 50Mb for teh same/a littel more than Im paying now I might go for it.

well when i download i am getting the full 53Mb, but the upload speed im getting 1.62Mb now. so i guess maybe im lucky

Has anyone upgraded from 10Mb to 50Mb? I was looking at it but called them up and they said it would be an extra £45??? Anyone had any bargains on getting an upgrade to 50mb for cheaper?

They did have free installation through their website when I last checked (30th of May), although it appears to have been overhauled. Try logging in and checking that way.

Or as mentioned above threaten to cancel over the phone.

I've had it for a month now. It's ultra reliable where I am, I get the full 50MB speed and there is no true download limit or traffic management, not at the moment anyway
