Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

Seems much better now. I might actually be able to play it.

Far less stutter. Much much better.

Although was the patch very small? Download didnt take long at all!

Do we know if the game supports SLI?

Just been playing with TheWorseMod v1.0

It's gorgeous but.... It doesn't really "work" for me?..

The DOF is wierd, enabled anything at any distance is a foggy mess and disabled it doesn't look "right".

Rain and water is superb but as soon as the sun goes down it far too dark as wierd as that sounds.

Some days I love this game, others I really feel it's inherently broken :-/

Disable the DoF from the options menu and enjoy the rest. I quite love what Worse and Moldo have done. Reminds me of the sweet Stalker feeling from Complete or Misery. :D

Download the update today and tried to play and getting major FPS drops on my 770.

Even tried on Low / Medium and it's barely playable at 30fps...

Wish I kept the PS4 now...

I think it's the best game that I've played which at 30-40fps feels real smooth, at least on the driving side, movie like. Just add the latest patch plus the worse + maldo. Game look and runs great!

PS: 5040x1050, 2500k OC, 8GB RAM, 7950OC and no, it's not maxed out - high textures plus a mixture of medium and high settings.

LE: For Eyefinity at least, use latest Flawless Widescreen and set yourself the parameters for the setup that you have. After that, select the profile of the game and load it up, go into the game and set the resolution to your default of the eyefinity setup (for me it's 5040x105). Aspect ratio will be fubar at start because you'll have a non ultra wide screen res of course. After you switch to your 3x1050/3x1080 or whatever, the aspect ratio will be fine.

Not even that nice lookin of a game and this is on high with the mod, took the mod off to see if its better without it but not tested yet, tho im sure it was better when i first played it this morning.

Meh who knows but man ive played some demanding games in my time but they looked better than wd thats for sure and required far less resources.
.

Really... game looks quite incredible to me;

Haven't played this since release.. Wasn't that impressed by the graphics initially and the vehicle handling.

Are the graphics better improved now or is there a mod I can download to improve them?

Everyone, In any doubt. Head over to guru3d and try some of the mods for christs sake.

I thoroughly recommend the 'Pure E3 Encore' edition by TonyMBR in the 'supersaurov' mod thread.
It uses the 'maldo textures trick', and since the newest patch, newest nvidia drivers and with this mod, I can run at ultra textures, and totally max out all other settings - now with ZERO stutter. And it looks fantastic. Best looking game ever at times. Seriously.

EDIT- also, don't try and run this game at 60fps or higher. It's just not 'designed' to. This is one of the odd few games I've played that actually feels better running at 37fps. I overclock my screen to 75hz and run vsync2 to get this, and it just feels so so smooth. SLI is still not working properly so I run on one Ti, but I've tested in areas that can achieve 60fps locked, and it feels 'wrong'. Hard to explain, although the physics are too fast at 60fps as one example (coat flapping in wind etc).

That coat thing, I think it was done by the modders.

Thinking back, I think you might be right there. The latest mods feature extra wind physics tweaks, including your coat.
It is weird though, running round feels almost too fast at 60ps compared to 37. Good job really as I get the feeling SLI will never work properly.

Really quite enjoying this. Certainly an interesting game at the moment (perhaps just the novelty factor though). Installed the worsemod and textures posted above and it looks fantastic (especially at night when raining!) - it seems to hold a steady 40-60fps, although there is a little stutter in outdoor environments on my AMD 7990. I do find the depth of field and blur effects a bit too much with the worsemod though - looks more cinematic with it installed, but probably more realistic without it (I hold a solid 60fps without it, but the same level of stutter). Enjoying though :)

Edit: well after an hour the stutter became too much. So disabled crossfire and set textures and all other graphical settings to high. I now only get about 30fps, but the stutter has completely gone. Strange game.

Had my first invasion...quite a neat feature.
