Watch Dogs - Ubisoft's Third Person Shooter

Is anyone else finding the driving physics a little dodgy. The faster cars seem to be all over the place and are really twitchy. I hit a bin slowly in an alleyway and the car just flew straight up in the air. Slower cars seem to be ok. I know this game really isn't about the driving but it does spoil it somewhat.

The game plays beautifully for me though on 2xGTX660 Sli and a 3770k apart from motion blur it was a little glitchy but I hate motion blur anyway so turned it off.

ultra textures?

Latest full 3.0 release? (not beta)

Nope. It turns out I was using build 2.2.4 which was released sometime in late 2012 . I guess it didn't support 64-bit applications.

So using MSI Afterburner instead of FRAPS I still only get 40FPS on medium settings when stood at an intersection. Stood at the same intersection using the low preset and v-sync forced through CCC and no AA I still only get 55FPS .

pvp (hacking) is a ton of fun. It's hilarious watching them run around trying to find you, especially when they run right past you.

Just had a game where i made a clumsy entrance hitting a lamppost in my car, dragging it along the road, then casually parking up close to my target on the side road using the hide feature while sitting in the car. The guy turned around in my direction and i swear he saw me, but he ran past my car twice, he had no clue i was there. So good watching them panic as the time ticks down. :D

Feel sorry for the people who paid out there nose for it...

Why? I bought it day one and dont need your sympathy.

And remember you can wait but probably wont get as much online activity six months down the line. But if you're not bothered about online as much then yes you would do best to wait if you can.

this game is more about single player though?

I'm using 7950 crossfire and seeing my bottom gpu getting almost maxed out while my top card sits at around 50%. All the while getting around 40fps. Please tell me i'm not alone. All other games working fine

Finally got this working, by formatting my PC :p

Gosh extreme!!

Hope I don't have to go that far. Mine loads up fine but crashes as soon as I click 'New Game'

I've verified the game files, its redownloaded nearly the whole thing 4 times now. Latest Beta Cat 14.6 Drivers.

Not sure what else to try =/

Performance isnt that bad, but I can't forgive the awful car handling, in an open world game that is dominated by cars and driving they needed to get the handling right and they've made a complete mess of it.

No incentive to continue playing at all, also not enjoying all this hacking either, interesting idea but I don't think it works.

I'd rather just replay GTA IV.

car mechanics are not that bad, sleeping dogs had worse & that's far better than GTA IV.

in sleeping dogs holding the handbrake made you drive faster :D

car mechanics are good remember this is not GTA V. would have taken them much longer & more money not to do it slighty arcady

Try deleting the game profile in my documents folder mate. Worked for me. Loads up at a low res. quit then reload and you should be ok.

Sigh....'You've been spotted, game over'. 'You killed the target, game over'. Leaving mission zone, game over'. Bored to death already. Ubisoft: Single handedly setting gaming back 10 years:rolleyes:
