Frank - I can't be the only person here who wishes you would watch the matches live rather than rely on BBC Five Live's commentary. You know how.
Please watch the matches, form your own opinions on what you see rather than the commentator's own opinions.
With regards to the match, I don't know what's up with our defence, they all seem rather clumsy at the minute, the Ferdinand incident was a penalty, losing his balance or not he made sure he was going to be taking the Hull player with him. I'm just surprised that a referee can award a penalty without booking the offender. Berbatov had a brilliant game, he is really starting to link well with the players around him. I have a funny feeling Rooney's good spell is now over, Tevez looked half arsed when he came on, so glad Carrick is now back in the fold.
All in all a good weekend of results, didn't see anything other than a Chelsea win at home against Sunderland, although I don't think I've ever seen 5 goals in a game that were scored in such a boring fashion. Good on the Spurs! Had an inkling that they would get something out of the game, Liverpool fans shouldn't despair though, still early days. Arsenal, the week I put Van Persie in my FF team and the muppet gets himself sent off and rightly so, he can be such a damn child, Wenger cannot defend that behaviour.
Gary Neville has a wicked throw on him, it's just been a while since I've actually seen it put to use as he's been injured a lot recently. Actually thinking about how Stoke scored yesterday, reminds me of the stat from last season that Man Utd conceded most headers in the league last year, doesn't look like ending any time soon, for such a perfect partnership in central defence, we concede far too many headers from set pieces.
