Weekend Football Thread. 7-9 *spoilers*

:D

Sham, which decisions did you think the ref got wrong? :(

1. It wasn't a freekick, this could be debated but not well.
2. Drogba hauls Wes Brown to the ground
3. Drogba tries to play the ball when he's in an offside position, the ball goes an inch from his foot so he's clearly active

I'm still waiting for Tosic to get a first team chance, Obertan looks like he can develope into a good winger.

I just think it's a disgrace that Obertan has got two starts and 2 substitute appearances yet Tosic hasn't got a single game this year, especially after looking really good pre season. He's the only natural left footed winger that we've got, I'm not saying he's going to make it but he really deserves the chance.

Adn you didnt include Rooney's offside in the 1st ten minutes or Valencia's penalty ;)

Who would have played instead of Giggs or the single Nani start?

Personally think he still looks a little lightweight to me without the blistering speed required

I really hope he comes good, Im just not convinced as yet

Thats just football, I think it was a foul, but I think that Drogba should have given a foul away on Wes Orange. A draw was the right result.

I agree, while I think they're both good young players they both need to be given a chance in the first team. Tosic hasn't and Obi Wan has, go figure.

Personally, I've seen more from Ober already, than I did from Tosic.
However I agree - why buy a player and then never give him a chance? But this has happened before with us. It does make you wonder if it's true we only signed Tosic to secure ljajic. However, we can have no idea what goes on behing closed doors. Perhaps theres a problem between him and SAF..
Regardless, I think its clear now that Nani will be at spurs next season, maybe in a part exchange for Palacios :D

Out: Wenger's contact lenses. In: His mahoosive 90's glasses. :D

Edit: Aaaand that should be in the transfer thread but I was reading both and posted it in the wrong one. Doohhhh. :(

Why does Ferguson always resort to criticising the referee after every loss or draw? And why do the FA let it continue?

To be fair, he's often right. And he's hardly the only one. But I agree - it is not nice to see such comments being made to the press. However, the standard of refereeing never gets any better, poor refs just get a weeks holiday in the championship and in general, the FA seems to have no policy to actually address the problem or to allow the managers to take their issues up with them.
Perhaps if they spent less time and money on "dubious goal committees" and dishing out meaningless fines and more on teaching the officials and maybe even introducing some form of goal line technology, the likes of SAF would have less to complain about.

Teams get dodgy refs every so often, United only get them when they lose or draw. You never he United coming out with that ref was amazing when they have won a game.

Cant believe we drew to Fulham, need to start getting a some wins again.

That video is world class, its the Ronaldo of **** takes.
