What Console Should I Get

Seriously, PS3 is the best. Xbox is cheap hardware, with rubbish exclusives designed for children. Xbox live is a rip, and overrated. If PS3 added party chat it would be better than live imo...Although i already think it is better, due to smoother online.

Killzone 2, resistance 2, i never get lag.

If you're hardware man who likes to think he's got the biggest and best, etc then go for the PS3.... apparently it's more powerful. Or it at least it will be.... sometime.... Though it does have Blu-Ray so that's a big tick in the Sony box if it interests you.

If you couldn't care less and just want to enjoy games then I'd pick the 360. It's cheaper too.

One big thing I'd recommend is go in a store and try both controllers... it's a bitch if you can't get on with your consoles controller. I think the 360 wins this one by quite a margin.

Yeah 360 controller is by far the best.

Actually come to think of it even the PS2 controller is better than the PS3's.

get both.

1 has great games and free on-line play with a a somewhat poor trophy system. the other has Crackdown (and achievements) that is way better than anything i've played on PS3.

Just wondering why Sony games seems to run behind a blur filter? I'd prefer jaggies than fake AA it cause many of the games to appear as if they have less detail. I tend to only buy games for the PS3 which are PS3 exclusive. Most 360 games look better because they're shaper (no filter). If the filter wasn't used I'm sure most games would look much better.

i own both.

well i tell a lie, ive owned 4 xbox 360s ALL of them very well looked after ALL of them have had problems.

First once RRoD and this was before mircosoft said they would replace rrods, second one failed altogeather, was replaced with and Elite that E74ed and now im on another elite that has RRoDed once returned and fixed so to say the new ones dont have any problems is completly incorrect.

PS3 on the other hand ive had since the US release date and (touch wood) has never done me wrong.

If all you want to do is game then I would lean towards a 360. Its cheap and chearful and HDMI with a massive back catalogue. This is all good and well though if the 360 behaves.

If you can afford it and you dont mind paying that bit extra then i would get the PS3.

In terms of gaming they are equal but for reliability ps3 all the way.
