What film did you watch last night?

This applies to most scary movies though - I'm fairly sure that if I was alone in a house and I heard a noise in the cellar, I wouldn't sneak down there with a semi-faulty flashlight! :D

Nope, you'd use cat-like reflexes to leap from your bed, legless, and openfire directly through the locked bathroom door, taking out those nasty crims who broke into your house to take a dump!

Anyway

Children of Dune 7/10 a decent adaption

"Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat, if you feel the heat around the corner."

Love this film, especially the shootout. 9/10

The ending sucked though

no way would he allow a confrontation like that, not to mention there were loads of bits where he could have ambushed him easily.

A shame as I liked the fellow

Heat

7/10

Never seen it before but I'm on a bit of a Pacino hit at the moment. Good film, took about an hour to get going and not a lot of action though. Oh and the Dolby TrueHD soundtrack was crap DTS-HD FTW!!

watched the movie called IDA: A a french thriller type of movie - 6.5/10
I like thrillers and this one was a decent watch

rewatched - pandorum (spelling?) again - 7/10 cool movie def recommend if you like space/scary suspense types

High Plains Drifter - One of my favourite Eastwood films 8/10

Point Break - Proper guilty pleasure 8/10

The Da Vinci Code Directors Cut - Much better than the theatrical version, but still a bit meh 6/10

Margin Call - Loved it and everyone that was in it, how this film slipped under the radar is anyones guess.....8/10

Skyfall - 7/10 Thoroughly enjoyed it

John Q - 6/10 Denzel was excellent as ever but overall it was ok

'Django unchained' at the pics

Film started really well. Witty, funny, a lot of people in the audience were laughing out loud...Christopher Walz steals the show etc all good..

Then the film gets bogged down. The ending is an anti climax. The liquidity of the blood seems unfathomably watery for reasons beyond my comprehension. There's 'SLOW MO' scenes. Just didn't need them really.

My tip is, get an aisle seat if you have legs. You'll need space to stretch em before the bounty is earnt.

Casino Royale (2006) - 4/5

Yay! A welcome return to form for Bond after the nonsense that was the previous three Brosnan films. Pity they styled it on Bourne; however, it's such a huge improvement over Die Another Day, that I can live with that. Not really sure about Craig as Bond though.
