World War Z

Never read the book so no real preconceptions.

It was okay, skipped about a bit but filled an evening in.

Just felt it could have been better

total recall (2012). surprisingly ok. i had low expectations but it really wasn't that bad.

flight. was alright but a bit strange seeing denzel playing such an unlikeable character. and what happens at the end was signposted from miles away. but there are major bonus points (2 to be exact) for nadine velazquez at the start. :cool:

Watched Pain And Gain.....not a bad watch. Had some funny moments which kept it fun!

8/10 for me, picked it up today from HMV in 2 for £20 along with Mud which I'm looking forward to watching.

Star Trek Into The Darkness.

Wow. Hollywood can actually do a high production value blockbuster right!

(I know a computer forum is not the best place to write this as I'm sure a lot of you are hardcore Star Trek fans who will hate the film. I'm not and I judged it tonight entirely in its own right. I thought it was gripping, exciting and very well made)

Bloke at work was scared watching this, dont know how though. It was an ok film but nothing scarey in it. 6/10.

I think the complaint is more about glorifying and making a comedy about actual crimes. Crimes for which people are under life and death sentences for goodness' sake.

World War Z last night and thoroughly enjoyed it! A solid 8/10 for me!

Started listening to the audio book a few days ago and from what I can tell the film doesn't appear to follow the same trajectory!?!?! The film is the actual incident whereas the book seems to be a review from peoples perspective after the event, which is nice because I can continue listening!
