What film did you watch last night?

Under The Skin 2/10

Utter tripe. I've never walked out of a film before. There's a first for everything I suppose but that was like a 1st year film class got hold of a Go Pro and Scarlett Johannson for a couple of days. Was so looking forward to it too due to Sexy Beast.
 
Watched World War Z for the second time tuther night. Was actually quite good the second time round where as first time I thought it pretty lame, Just shows how the Release time Hype ruins a movie. Give it a while forget about it & then come back for a casual viewing & actually enjoy it.
 
Veronica Mars - da mooovie. 7/10

I had no clue what this was about but it was apparently big in Sweden. Its a film of a teenage TV show about a PI high school girl +10 years.
My GF is trying to get me to watch the series.... its a bit :/ anyway...

The film was alright, lot of it was lost on me cos i didnt watch the series but it was humerus on the most part i guess aimed at, now grown up, teenagers. Collage humor gags but not too cheesy. Dont go out of the way to watch it but don't bolt for the door if its on.
 
Thor: The Dark World - entertaining enough super hero sequel, nice of them to get out of America for a while, I know that all super heroes live and work in the US, so a nice change being in Blighty for a bit, oh and Kat Denning's voice is annoying. 3/5

I'm surprised that you had to walk out, its been receiving some pretty good reviews!

What didn't you like about it specifically?

I enjoyed it the first time to be fair. The second half definitely saved it for me as the first was a little dire
 
Bullhead "Rundskop" - 7/10.

A slow burning crime drama based on the murder of Karel van Noppen and the illegal use of growth hormones in Belgium during the 90's. Matthias Schoenaerts performance as Jacky is immense.
 
Wrath of Vajra Best martial arts nonsense since The Raid
In Fear Bland horror movie featuring 2 bickering people driving around in circles getting lost.
Dracula 2D version. Argento's worst although that's not saying much.
 
Nymphomaniac Vol.1

I had recently watched Breaking the Waves (8/10), and enjoyed that a lot, but being a big ignoramus I knew nothing about Lars Von Trier, so I decided to watch some others. Nymphomaniac Vol.1 was interesting and highly erotic, although it is claimed that porn doubles were used, at least for the main young girl played by Stacy Martin. I like it enough watch the second volume.
