What film did you watch last night?

Clearly cars aren't your thing. It gets a 7/10 from me for the cars, car sounds and camera views alone. If you started watching with the expectation of viewing a stellar film with intense storyline, gripping acting roles and no plot holes instead of a turn brain off and enjoy a fun film about cars then you need to sort your movie watching priorities out.

Actually cars are very much "My Thing" and I actually quite enjoyed the movie, I was just mentioning the length, which was ridiculous.

No need to get all defensive if you like a movie and someone else doesn't, would be very dull planet if we all like the same thing :)

Perhaps saying that in the first instance would have negated the need to question otherwise :p personally I thought the length was fine. There was a lot of car footage and scenes in to enjoy and not one moment did I glance at the running time wondering "how long?!". If there was more I'd have been even happier!

Edit*
Fast & Furious was the opposite. Too much time spent by the leads moping around with their relationships, not enough action or cars. I like a good solid story with A class acting as much as anyone else but that expectation is far away when watching a film like this. Just enjoy the scenes and if you've read a few bits about NFS beforehand you'll likely enjoy it more (the stunts were not done using CGI, the Agera R models were purpose built for the crash scenes yet still cost hundreds of thousands of dollar each etc!).

Now... The Noah = 9.5/10 guy...

yes yes ok. probs not 9.5, I did really enjoy it though. well apart from the watchers. at the end of the day its personal entertainment.

Watched Her last night after many a recommendation on here and was left feeling a little disappointed tbh! :(

Weird storyline but the 5 minute silent montages of Theodore wandering aimlessly were just boring imo!

Also, there is just something about that tache that just wasn't right!! ;)

4/10

Catch Me If You Can - 9/10.

I've not seen this before until tonight, what a great little film! Thoroughly entertaining throughout, loved it. Typical Spielberg.

It definitely has a very melancholic vibe to it.

Just finished watching it, I lost it at the bit where his OS is in love with hundreds of other people..

Different I give it that.

I never rated the Harry Potter movies.
They promised a lot, but they were just very bland.
They could've and should've been epic offering some HUGE powerful magic spells.
Instead, we got weak spells.
Realistically the only people who could've done something awe-inspiring (Yoda-esque), were the teachers. But they were pretty useless at magic, also.

Long. Boring. Bland. That about sums up all the HP movies.
