What film did you watch last night?

Need For Speed...decent story, likable characters, good humour. I actually got a sense of the speeds traveled in this which F&F franchise has never done, cars were stunning as well, really enjoyed it, 7/10

Guardians of the Galaxy.......superb movie! Best marvel movie, and easily the best movie this year. Will def be seeing it again! 10/10

The Avengers

Only 2 years late, but bloody hell that was brilliant! Oozed Whedon, got more laughs out of me than most dedicated comedies. My only real gripes is that Smulders makes a crap Hill, and that it is a shame Norton wasn't Banner (new guy isn't Banner-like at all, he seemed to be channeling Leonard from Big Bang :p).

9/10

Ruffalo is fantastic as Banner.

Taking about pirating films - I *tried* to watch Hercules in Swindon last night. It was a fairly busy screening (say 3/4 full) with people talking on phones, eating from loud food packets, talking, really bad smell of BO from the group infront of us and a mouth breather sat right behind me, so pretty standard for Swindon but 1/2 way through an actual fight started between a group of chavs at the front and the police had to be called so we never got to see the end (got a refund). So £25 wasted on a crap evening in a cinema or D/L Expendables 3 and watch it it the comfort of your own home for free without any of the hassle.

I can easily see why people pirate!

PS Hercules - 5/10 for the first hour - I like how they took "the legend" and redefined into what is probably more accurate. The acting was passable and the action scenes that I saw were impressive but relatively small scale. I really liked Rufus Sewell's character but the girl and the madman were a bit wasted I thought. Overall I enjoyed it enough to try and see it again but this time at 10am on a Tuesday etc to avoid the scum in Swindon.

I agree with you here, I booked online for 18 people friends and family, got all the seats together but got there and other people had taken the seats,
told the staff and the did nothing other then offer a refund or wait for the next screening, they still could not get the seats together.

People in pirating awful films shocker.

I guess at least that way it's easier to keep a straight face when you're saying you wouldn't have paid to see it anyway.

Still ****ing stupid how it's allowed here, but you can't discuss emulation/roms in the console section.

Forum can be so dumb sometimes.

But blatant pirating films, yeah that's cool carry on as you are.

Which Cinema?? Never had this happen over Cineworld (West Swindon) Nice Atmosphere, Comfy Seats with decent leg room, No Chavs in any screenings I've been to... On the Other Hand if it was the Empire over Greenbridge 'Nuff Said' :D

I watched Winter Soldier last night too, really enjoyable albeit predictable plot and not much depth. That said, its hardly a movie you go looking for anything more than a bit of fun escapism.

Kinda did things back to front though. Should probably have watched the first Cap America movie beforehand.

Bingo! :D

I'll take you up on the Cineworld offer and try that one instead, it literally can't be any worse unless they throw a bucket of **** over you every 30 seconds!
