What film did you watch last night?

Boyhood - 2.5 hours of nothing, seriously nothing happens in this film, if you like you films that play on subtleties this is for you, otherwise stay well clear :)
As a showcase of dedication its great but as a film pretty boring. I cant image the effort that went into it mind! that's some dedication!
 
Godzilla (2014) - a decent enough monster-romp - but not what I was expecting in the story department though - 7/10

Bryan Cranston - why bother when the part was so small??
MUTO's getting more screen time than 'Zilla!?!?
No-one seemed overly worried about this huge lizard city-destroyer just wandering off at the end!

Movie is a poor rip-off or Taken with awful directing, terrible acting and a crap twist at the end which adds nothing.

Gone are the days of Con Air and The Rock!

how to train your dragon 2 9/10 (something avatar-esque about this one)
Frozen 8/10
Edge of tomorrow 7/10

Edge of tomorrow was sold to me as awful by a friend, but actually it was one of cruises better films, I enjoyed it as a brain out type of movie.
 
God is NOT dead.

Wow just WOW. I tried to watch this with an open mind, but JESUS (pun intended) did Ken Ham write this movie. It like a blunt force weapon to the face with it propaganda, all the God worshiping characters are vilified by these evil nasty people who coincidentally are Atheist, and there are several sub plot stories about people with no ethics or morality. It's incredible,

I had though about giving it a 10/10 for comedy value, but it has to get a big fat 0/10 for what it's trying to do.
 
Manhunter is fantastic.

I watched The Frozen Ground yesterday and it showcases just how good Cage is when he has a more subdued role. Cusack actually shocked me in this, never seen him play such a vile detestable role. Solid movie...

I thought this as well. Good film. Great acting.

I've always said to people if you watch this movie, you will never turn to drugs! It was a good movie yet horrid at same time.
