What film did you watch last night?

Dont Blink - Fairly low budget horror / thriller however really enjoyed the ending which made the film so much less stereotypical. 7/10.

The Dyatlov Pass Incident - Mystery / Thriller, based on real events however completely made up story. Thoroughly enjoyed it, if a little predictable. 8/10.

Guardians of the Galaxy. 7/10

I thought the first scene went a bit too far and it took a while to get me back on board.

The missus was in floods of tears. Not a way you want to start date night ffs.

Films I've watched this week include:

The Apparition - 2/5
OK horror film. Story line not too bad but acting not great although Ashley Greene was decent eye candy ;)

Hereafter - 3/5
Watchable Paranormal movie with matt Damon. Also nice to see a bit of London in it

Black Gold - 3/5
Interesting take on how the arabs made their never ending billions. Worth a watch

Rosewood Lane - 3.5/5
One of the better films I watched this week. It had me watching until the end

I gotta ask, what's your profession?

That's some attention to detail and I'm slightly upset you didn't hotlink each bolded movie title to their specific IMDB page.

Logan's Run, 8/10.

Good, solid old flick with some immersive and thought provoking moments. Particularly impressed with the music / sound effects.

Homefront

Typical action film from Jason Statham, really uninteresting characters, all very samey samey for his films, but I have a soft spot for his movies - 6/10 turn brain off etc.

22 Jump Street - 7/10 More of the same from the first one, enjoyed it though. The ending scene in the credits was particularly hilarious.

Margin Call - 7/10 Good film about the financial sector and a young guy finding out the company is going south quickly. Demi Moore looked hot in it too.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty - I'm in the 50% of people who liked it but then I'm not familiar with the short story it's based on. People who have read it say this film is too serious. But it works for me. And lovely cinematography.

I must be in the same 50% as you.

I really liked it. The story line was interesting i.e. print to digital shift etc but the cinematography is what really made it for me. Some really beautiful scenes with vibrant colours. If you have a decent TV, definitely worth watching just for that.

I remember watching that on a Saturday Afternoon on BBC2, and was delightfully surprised to see it hadn't been cut...

2pm Saturday Afternoon, Full Frontal Jenny Agutter.. All Naked and Cold!! Nom!

Edge of Tomorrow - 7.5/10
Enjoyed it much more than i thought i would, i was dreading the repeat timeline thing like ground hog day, but it made the best out of it.

Neighbours 2014 - 2/10
I didn't even make it 30 mins before switching it off, terrible film.

Drive - 9.5/10
I love this film but i don't know why. It just grips me, start to finish.
