What film did you watch last night?

Guardians of the galaxy. 7/10 from me. Was entertaining but had been over hyped for me with the amount of love it got on these forums saying 9/10 and 10/10.

Transformers:The Movie (9/10) - like to watch this at least a couple of times a year. One of the best animated movies going. Alright its not modern fancy CGI but the animation is still decent and the voice actors are superb all tied together with a nice, feel good story with heroes and villains galore.

+1 wow can't believe someone remembered this one, Japanese animation at its best.

Couldn't agree more one of my all time favourites.

LoL at the universal greeting :D

Saints and soldiers - the void. solid 7/10

think race relations in tanks and a little bit of a band of brothers vibe and your just about there.

Have you seen the original Terminator and what did you think? Going by your age (22), I have a theory and your answer is important :)

I also did not enjoy Alien or Aliens, and I have tried to rewatch them time and time again but they just really do not interest me.

However I love The Terminator, Predator, Commando etc

Ive got to agree with Radec here, the age doesn't matter if you don't enjoy a film then you don't enjoy it, its as simple as that....no theory can answer it.

Oh im 36 by the way, so very much born into watching films from that era.

Fair enough, if it ain't for you, then it ain't for you :)
You're still a wrong'un for not at least digging Aliens though :p

How about 'The Thing'? (Carpenter version)

Watched Priest, had seen it before and had the same issue as when i'd watched it previously, I love the setting and the backstory/idea but the actual film falls a bit flat, it's all been done before and there isn't much to keep you interested. 5/10.

Best bit of the film is this little animated intro/prologue...
