What film did you watch last night?

Age of Ultron

Thought it was good although my local cinema has a pretty rubbish 3D setup which I didn't realise it was being shown in.

Personally I didn't find it as good as Cap 2 or even the previous Avengers film but I can see a lot of buildup for phase 3 so am more excited about Cap 3.

Probably worth a bit more but I'd say 7/10 is fair in comparison to the other Marvel film standards we've become accustom to.

Interstellar and Dumb & Dumber To

Interstellar, wow the last time I had read up on the explanation of a film might have been Donnie Darko. Great film though

Dumb & Dumber To, not bad but not as good as the original imo

Age of Ultron. Meh. It's a filler film in the most fillery universe of films. They're just creating this huge gelatinous mass of films that will swamp us all. Half the action sequences look like computer games as well. Black Widow on the motorbike was nowhere near as cool as Trinity on the Ducati in Matrix Reloaded and that's from 12 years ago. I was bored.

Multiplicity

How have I never seen this film before, I love 90's films like this.

Great comedy film with the correct amount of silliness. Plenty of laugh out loud moments. Keaton is fantastic :)

7.2/10

Gone Girl - 6/10. Heard good things about this so I bought it on BD but it wasn't particularly interesting until Amy started going nuts. Decent soundtrack though.

"Secret Window" - 6/10

A good film with a small cast (there are only about 5 main characters). Well acted & shot but rather predictable. As soon as you see it's based on a story by Stephen King the whole thing is paint by numbers.

The Gambler

8/10

Great film, really connected with it, thought the soundtrack was spot on. It's certainly a film that I feel you'll love or hate. Thought Marky Mark was fantastic and portrayed a great character.

Star Wars: A new hope - 8.5

Cheesy, some terrible dialogue and questionable acting. Charming nonetheless.

Don't see how people can complain about the prequels acting after watching Mark Hamil in this though :o.

Rose tinted specs. The originals are just as bad as the prequels, it works, but taken alone they are all pretty poor movies.
