What film did you watch last night?

It actually turned a profit of about £20 million when home sales are taken into account, not enough to get them to make a sequel though.

Stallones Dredd probably killed it as well, i've spoken with so many people who've never watched it because they assumed it would be like Stallones version.

Exactly the reason it needed some marketing.

Montage of Heck

By far the best documentary ever made about Kurt Cobain. You don't even need to be a fan to appreciate it. Excellent stuff.

Just made me think that cobain was just a massive junky...the scene with him out of it on Heroin while holding his baby was vile

Watched 4 movies last night, just got a free NowTV trial on xbox:)

Amazing Spider-man 2, really enjoyed this one, as much ad the first anyway 8/10

A Million ways to die in the west, watched with my wife, better than either of us assumed, got plenty of that Seth McFarlane humour 6/10

Terminator 3, not seen this in 10 years, seems a bit dated now of course. Nowhere near T2 but better than Salvation 6.5/10

American History X, again been a decade since I seen this. Still a powerful film, holds up well 9/10

In time

Good idea, could have been a good storyline. Instead it wasn't. It was just pants, with a terrible script, some dire acting and Justin trouser snake thrown in topless for the girls. Some of the puns in this film made me rage.

2/10

Watched 2 and rate both very highly. Kinsgman the secret service, a quality spy themed action flick with a superb star studded cast. And it follows, a very creepy horror movie, low budget really good, great atmospheric soundtrack too.

He was Bi polar. Suffered from extreme depression and yes he was a 'junkie'. Funny you mentioned that minor point but failed to mention that Courtney did heroin while pregnant. Francis was born an addict because of Courtney's drug use and had to be weaned off using morphine before being released from hospital. That is vile. A high guy holding his daughter, no not vile. My sister recently gave birth to her first child. We had a family party a few weeks later and I have photo's of me after a few glasses of wine holding the baby. Guess I'm 'vile' too in your mind.

They were socially dysfunctional as a family and as individuals, but with madness often comes genius. You can't hide from the fact that Kurt changed the face of music and defined a genre and a generation. Also, Francis Bean Cobain is a healthy adult making her own way in life.

You're half way there. Can't give Cobain a free pass whilst vilifying Love: makes no sense. It was a complicated and sad story.

It Follows

Honestly, I was pretty let down by this.
The 80's vibe was great, the atmosphere was unsettling and it had a few good scenes (including the intro), but the finale was poor and it felt like there were a few scenes missing or just a lack of explanation for certain bits. It also dragged a bit here and there.
It could've been really good...

He broke his virginity whilst drunk with a disabled young girl... That is Vile...Courtney was even more vile...And encouraged his demise.

You can't compare a few glasses of wine with Injecting Heroin either...

as for the music....Its clear he was talented and a great song writer...But I don't have to respect him as a human being in order to appreciate his art....

Francis Bean Cobain doesn't even like Nirvana....And if I was wtaching that video of my father...I would be embarrassed...

Age of Ultron

Enjoyed it, full of jokes and the action was great. More of that please. 8/10. Also, didn't realise the witch from GoT was in it! Looks younger :p

Finally got a chance to watch Avengers: Age of Ultron. A good film however we have been spoiled recently with excellent films like this and it just didn't quite match up to the first Avengers or Winter Soldier. Still well worth a watch but not quite top of the super hero heap. 7/10
