What film did you watch last night?

I think people are remembering Terminator 1 and 2 through rose tinted glasses lol, Go watch them again they are both piles of turd now, maybe good at the time but just as bad as Genisys is right now. John Connor in T2 was the most annoying brat ever almost as annoying as Zac from The Strain. Again good memories from a time when you were a boy but just as bad as Genisys.

Watched Lovelace last night and found it quite interesting!

I'd heard the name which is amazing considering her career in that particular industry lasted something like 17 days!

Love the end of the review on IMDB: Oh, and not to make light of domestic violence, but if anybody tells you that this movie is on par with "Boogie Nights", you have my permission to punch them in the face.

The Lobster.

The unusual story, the method of story telling mixed with some endearing, horrifying and funny moments made it a film I enjoyed. However due to the unusual story I would find it difficult to recommend it unless I intimately knew someones films preferences. I would rank it 7/10.

Yeah, it was interesting. I just found my old review of this on here and I still think the casting was off - though not the performances.

First two films are still excellent

Back to the future 1 and 2. Obviously seen them both many times before... Used to watch the trilogy all the time when I was a kid, but not seen them for a while. First is a cast-iron classic. One of the best films ever imo. 2nd I didn't enjoy so much tbh.

1st one- 10/10
2nd one- 7.5/10

Good Will Hunting - 8/10.

Love this film, reminds me of how good an actor Robin Williams was when he did his 'serious' roles. One of my favourite performances of his, so good! Classic :)

Invaders from mars (1986).

Heh. Watched it myself The other week.

Like all those hammy Cannon, direct to video releases in the 80's you really do have to sit back and smile. The invader monsters were quite good costume, puppets, effects though.

Try Terror Vision, total 80's goofball.

Just seen the program. 5/10. Was just alright, not great but not bad either. The Armstrong lie was arguably more interesting. The BBFC certificate was particularly hilarious...this films has been categorised 15, warning very strong language and scenes of performance enhancing drug taking....lol!

500 Days of Summer.

As the narrator warns you at the beginning, "this is not a love story". Always thought this movie was brilliant and was feeling particularly soppy/thoughtful tonight so gave it another watch.

Would recommend if you haven't seen it before.

The Thaw. A porky Val H. Kilmer drags himself through this 2009 biological thriller about some guy who finds some stuff and tries to make sure other people can have the stuff but his mates don't want anyone to have the stuff so everyone dies and to be honest it's not the best situation all round.

7/10.

Total Recall (2012) - 3/10

It gets -1 points for being a remake of a much better film. Otherwise it would just be really, really bad.

There was a funny joke in the end credits tho. "An Original Film Production". Someone has a very sarcastic sense of humour. Either that or Hollywood thinks it can remake words now as well!

Seriously, nothing in the film made any sense at all. Including an elevator through the Earth's core to the other side. Or a woman who desperately wants a guy dead, but when her forces have him surrounded and are all ready to kill him, she sends in a negotiator instead.

I don't understand how anyone could look at the script for this film then agree to make it. It's terrible in almost every way. Some of the action sequences are passable, but that's it. Everything else: just awful.
