What film did you watch last night?

think ive only seen that once but i do remember gong thru the quick flash scenes frame by frame.....yikes

defo a classic

my favorite scene is The Sicilian Scene with
Clifford Worley (Dennis Hopper) & Vincenzo Coccotti (Christopher Walken
)

Yeah that scene is just great, up there with the best movie pieces.

The Gift. Written by Joel Edgerton. Directed by Joel Edgerton. Stars Joel Edgerton as Joel Edgerton.

A young couple is concerned that an old acquaintance might have become a Muslim... or worse!

Jason H. Bateman puts in a steely performance for this slow burning thriller. Eduard Grau's cinematography is superb, as usual.

8/10.

We really enjoyed it too.
A solid thriller if a little predictable.
7.5/10

Terminator Genisys - Back to, from, into, what date is it. What a mess, it should have been terminated before it started. 5/10

How to Save Us. Low budget indie thriller with supernatural elements. Shot in Tasmania (I recognised many of the locations) and reasonably well produced.

Strong first act, slow second act, total collapse in the third. A great idea thrown away by poor scripting.

4/10.

Pixels!!!!

Actually enjoyed this and the time seemed to fly which is a good sign. Effects were very good and as an 80's kid i especially enjoyed the 80's references.

Kept the kids entertained too.

7/10.

The Man from UNCLE next.

Gravity. 8/10

Heard mixed things about this. Did seem a bit drawn out in places but generally a good film, good effects too.

Point and shoot.
Self film documentary film
An American sets out with his motorbike to find both adventure and his sense of manhood, leading him on an extraordinary journey he could not have imagined, including fighting in the Libyan Revolution.

I thought it was extremely interesting 8/10

Landmine Goes Click. Predictable revenge flick. Has a vague idea of where it wants to go, but no idea how to get there.

4/10.

Cop Car.

Went toward an unexpected and abrupt end I suppose, but it kept me guessing leading up to it. 6/10 "Worth a watch but don't expect Oscar performances".

I watched this too. Wasn't as bad as all the hate makes out.
However, I did watch this with my little girl which may of added to the watchability of it.

I'd give it 6/10.

The War Zone - 7/10

Ray Winstone takes on a very controversial role in this twisted story about him and his family. This family has a dark secret though, he infact has incest relations with daughter and his son eventually finds out, dark and gloomy, very great acting from the kids and Ray himself. Tim Roth directional debut as well.
