What film did you watch last night?

Tell you for why, because id put money on it most wanted him to get clean away with it.

We live in that day and age. I got asked once here what i thought about it, i gave my normal deep insighted opinion... next day i thought hang on, whats everybody else thinking, i came up with the above.

Me tonight, just got back from Repo men, funny if people think the ending to law is bad... wait till you come to the end of repo men.

I felt as empty as the theater tonight, 3 people in, self included.

Poor film, carried only by decent performances by Law and Whitaker...4/10 at best, knock one off for the sad end.

Just got back from watching Kick Ass and thought it was absolutely brilliant.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and is the most i've laughed at a film for a while!

The Wrestler.

Rourke's powerhouse of a performance turns what would otherwise have been an average but well directed film into a great watch !

2010: The Year We Make Contact

I loved it. I think I'll probably enjoy 2001 much more now thanks to this sequel. It's not as 'artsy' as 2001, but its very good in its own right. Clarke was an inspired man.

7/10.

Really enjoyed Law abiding citizen. Ending was to be expected to be honest. although would have liked seeing Jamie Fox get wasted aswell. the mobile phone scene was great :D

Deathproof

I quite liked the way this was made and the dialogue is pretty good in places (as is the soundtrack) but there's barely any story in this (which was the intention by the sounds of it). 6.5/10

Planet Terror

Well the approach here for the lack of a better word is "interesting" and again some interesting bits of dialogue and set pieces but again quite weak film overall so 6/10

Looking at both films at the same time though (which is really what was meant to happen with the whole Grindhouse thing) they certainly achieved what they wanted to do, just not sure if it's what we want in this day and age.

The Devil's Chair. Unmitigated, self-important, pretentious drivel that takes itself far too seriously. Another good idea wasted by incompetent morons.

Not even Neville Gorman could have saved this movie!
