Ok, but nothing really that interesting happens and overall quite blend. If you already seen the trailer, then the shock fact has already been taken out of the equation.
Collateral. One of those quiet, brooding films about black men with personal issues. Tom Cruise plays a minor supporting role. Neville Gorman does his best with a 2-minute walk-on as "Man in Alley."
Watched Eden Lake tonight after a couple of pages back recommended it.
It is very haunting. Will leave it to that as don't want to spoil it. But the story does follow the path of a typical horror film and the woman who plays the GF isn't a very good actress at all.
But it is definitely worth a watch, when films are set/made in UK it does add to the realism. Especially when they are half decent.
Pretty bad really, obviously it is a bit of an action film so we shouldn't expect too much but I really like the style of it and the sets and special effects aren't that bad and even Vin Diesel plays his part as expected, but whoever wrote the script needs shooing. Just really awful and cheesy.
I just watched Saving Private Ryan on Blu-ray. The Blu-ray itself was good but not phenomenal, but then again this might have been deliberate. (leaving a slight grittiness to the picture) There was also a part in the Blu-ray where the dialogue was terribly out of sync (the part where Matt Damon (Private Ryan) and Tom Hanks are talking about memories of home)
