What film did you watch last night?

Watched Prince of Persia - Sands of Time Last Night, I'd give it 7/10 for entertainment.

It was like the lovechild of The Mummy/Pirates of the Caribean with Assassins Creed as a God Parent :D

In the Loop - had me in stitches. 4.5/5

I have never seen The Thick of It. Should I or is it a bit watered down? Also slightly confused that IMDB says that some of the charaters have different names in the TV series that in the film. What's going on there?

Nightmare on Elm Street (2010).
It's been a while since I saw the original but I don't recall Freddy being a

Paedo?!

Meh it was an OK watch but nothing spectacular. Horror isn't made how it used to be any more :/

From the spec me a horror film thread...

Audition

It wasnt quite as bad as I imagined it would be but it was still pretty gruesome!! :D (Kiri Kiri Kiri)

Really surprised at the poor reviews Kick Ass is getting.
I watched it last night and was really impressed with what I thought was a really good film. Thought the soundtrack and use of music was brilliant.
8/10
Guess it's all subjective.

Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations

Similar in story (obviously) to the previous 2 films, however a bit darker (the opening sequence gives you a bit of an insight to the tone of the film).

We were left staring at each other towards the end.

A good watch :)

O Brother where art Thou?

Watched this again last night for probably the 10th time....bloody great film.

8.5/10

Last film I watched with my dead grandma. She was born and raised in the same era (born in alabama) and it brought back lots of memories for her. Will always be a special film for me.

Watched Hitman last night on channel 4. Very surprised as when it came out thought the adverts made it look like a uwe boll film. It actually wasn't too bad. I'd say one of the better game to film efforts.

Day of The Dead (2008)

I'm starting to get very angry about all these people coming along trying to make zombie and ****ing it up beyond belief. Here we have another one of these, end result of which is a total waste of money and people's time. They messed with the actual zombie here turning it into some sort of a superman/spiderman hybrid. Another major gripe here is the cinematography, it is on par with what a first year film student would produce. I mean who on earth still uses blatant terribly done speeding up of video to make action seem quicker? It just looks like an amateur project and this is something that wasn't.
he zombie alone and stick to basics with it and don't try to be clever. 3/10
