What film did you watch last night?

Thor: Ragnorok ..again - 8/10 watched it with the wife, my first repeat her first viewing. Not quite the impact of the first showing because I knew the humour was coming but my wife thought it was a riot and really enjoyed it. It's definitely in the top end of the MCU films, Iron Man, GotG, Winter Soldier maybe ahead but not by much.

Have you seen Reservoir Dogs? It was a bit of a rehash of that I thought. Not as good, but I think it did the tension well and overall I found it enjoyable.

A long time ago, can't remember much of it.

Unsane (2018) - 6/10

Although the film is well put together and has a strong performance from Foy, there isn’t much mystery or suspense in this traditional psychological thriller.

I enjoyed it and it mostly succeeds at dealing with the subject matter at a mature level, but it doesn’t resolve anything to a satisfactory conclusion.

It was ok. Better than batman vs superman.

Felt rushed plus aquaman could have done with an origin storey first.

A Silent Voice - Sad, deep, touching and heart breaking story about bullying, disability, friendship, guilt, self reflection, redemption.

Beautiful animation, heartbreaking at times. It's a little too long but worth the time watching it.

Ready Player One - 7/10

I enjoyed it, seeing the DeLorean so much at the start was epic and is probably part of the reason why I rate it so highly will be reading the book now to see what all the fuss is about how trashy it is and how better (if at all) the film is.

I get that it's an 80's pop culture rollercoaster but I did enjoy the film for what was presented, it's no Citizen Kane of the genre, but for just switching off my brain and enjoying what was shown it worked.

No idea why anyone would watch any of the transformers films

Actually, I did see the first one and thought it was pretty poor. I hear they have only gone downhill since, so have avoided all the others like the plague

Was alright, actually went to watch Tombraider but ended up watching this instead. More of the same from the last one.

It's about giant robots smashing things through the power of friendship. You can't grade it on any traditional metrics. I think it may just be better than the original
