funny we all have different tastes.....i've quick rated the movies in your list. i'd personally completely avoid It Follows....i've coughed up scarier things, good idea but shockingly bad film, in my opinion obviously. and i cannae be arsed with the Mission Imp films. the imp gives me the squits though i quite liked oblivion and edge of tomorrow.

He's just robbed most of my list from yesterday, loved It Follows, not scary admittedly but it's a horror film that sets rules at the start, sticks with them and remains consistent, no jumping the shark and **** poor jump scares.

Fallout was the best 'bond' movie we've had since Casino Royale but that wasn't on my list ;)

You've got meh okish next to some of my favourites (BR2049, Dredd) so clearly just different tastes here which is fair enough.

Didn't rob the list I added it to the list if films I wanna watch off here lol

King Kong (1933) - 8/10

There’s something refreshing about the simplicity of classic movies, and Kong is definitely a classic.

Very dated in attitude, special effects and presentation, but it’s full of action and suspense and although it’s more of a comedy now than a horror, it’s still very entertaining.

Great use of music and its clever how they put it all together, but some of the acting was a bit poor at times.

if it's any consolation i keep meaning to rewatch dredd as i think i was in a crappy mood the night i watched it :p. but BR2049 barely just scrapes a meh from me and that's only cause i loved the first.

Ironically I was dead against a BR sequel as the first is an all time favourite and I think Gosling is a terrible actor. I went into the cinema wanting to hate it, adamant it was an unneeded follow up to a classic and they would **** the bed. Came out a few hours later trying to pick fault and simply couldn't do it.

I'll champion Dredd over and over though, I had the pleasure of watching in the cinema in 3D and the combination of slow mo, 3D and a truly brilliant soundtrack totally won me over. That said...i'm a life long Dredd comic nerd and Urban absolutely nailed the role. I really look forward to the Mega City One series that's in development, Urban has also show interest in that.

Shame that we become so critical when we grow up :D

I remember being allowed to stay up late to watch the original King Kong on the TV when I was young and thinking it was awesome.

I've only seen it once but I thought it was excellent. The lighting and atmosphere/immersion were superb.
Only film i’ve seen twice at the cinema!

And tonight, Passenger 57 - 7/10
Snipes is great in it as always, and Liz Hurley! Great one liners and the baddie.

yup a wee spot or ECT or some uppers and you'll be right with us.
Dredd was just Dredd, pretty much the actual comic, end of the whole affair he describes it as a drugs bust and moves on the the next bunch of crims.
BR2049, I loved to bits, in all forms, and in each rewatch.

Any reason you neglected to include my suggestion of The Third Man?
