Is that the one with the rather racy opening scene? Its basically porn.
Yes, a bit of 'how's your father' in the shower.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer - 4/10
Not for me. Didn’t really enjoy The Lobster either, but I liked the more silly nature of that one at least.
I'd perhaps call it soft porn, rather than porn but I love you referring it to racy! I haven't heard that term in a long time!Is that the one with the rather racy opening scene? Its basically porn.
Saw this at the cinema. Some people did actually walk out.Antichrist. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0870984/
I watched this more because of Willem Defoe than anything else,
though I have heard/read interesting info about the director so I'll be sure to check out more of his work soon.
As for the film itself, well, it is the most explicit movie I've ever seen. Shocking in places for sure, but not one I'd wish to watch again.
Overall, it's a very intense film and for the most part, I quite enjoyed it.
Yeah, I just thought he’d move away from the type of line delivery they’d used in The Lobster. But I guess it’s his ‘thing’.I loved the Killing of a Sacred Deer but I can definitely see why it wouldn't be to everyone's taste though.
Not really. I stopped reading at the tag. Probably worth not tagging me in a rinse as I stop reading anything afterDid you actually read what I wrote?

About 1 hour 10mins in from the transition of the church to the police station. There is a high chance that someone within that timeframe from bringing the unconscious Batman from the church to the police station could have easily unmask him to reveal his identity (probably messing up the riddler plans) or just simply executed Batman as most of the higher up of the Gotham police are all in on it.
Seriously?? Why on earth would some people walk out on it?Saw this at the cinema. Some people did actually walk out.
I haven't seen The Lobster yet but I do have it recorded. I've read the synopsis but it doesn't scream at me, to watch it, at the moment.Yeah, I just thought he’d move away from the type of line delivery they’d used in The Lobster. But I guess it’s his ‘thing’.
I’ve not got an aversion to challenging films, but, as you say, just wasn’t striking a chord with me!
I do think Colin Farrell is great though!
Handful of people, one engine down and essentially through a giant ******* wave. Surprised they stopped there.Moonfall
Literally WTF!
I thought from reading the premise, this was going to be a Depp Impact/Armageddon vibe film, how wrong I was!!
Laughable acting. Terrible CGI. A plot which was all over the place. Particularly loved bit where they 'just' launched the rocket with a handful of people.
I stuck it out until the end just to see where it went, but really don't waste your time. Literally what is wrong with Hollywood at the moment.
1/10
I went to see Saving pvt Ryan at the cinema when it was released, dozens of people walked out during the Omaha landing. Some people are just not suited for certain films. Just like people walking out of films that re really crap. No difference.Seriously?? Why on earth would some people walk out on it?
