What film did you watch last night?

Last film I watched , Monday night, was Platoon (1986) where a young American Army recruit played by Charlie Sheen gets exposed to the horrors of Vietnam and gets sucked into the conflict between two of his superiors, Tom Berenger and Willem Dafoe. I missed the ending, but what I saw was good

Well the original is the first Pink Panther film and a classic. No idea what the 2021 thing is, I can't even find it with google. Just some tv series from 2017 that is not connected?

One of my favourite movies of the '10's - holy trinity of Villeneuve Directing, Deakins on Cinematography and Jóhann Jóhannsson on soundtrack - absolutely love it.

I've mixed emotions on the 2nd, there are elements of it I still really like, Brolin is a scene stealer but the expansion of Del Toro' story just doesn't feel right. It's also more balls out action vs the slow quiet storm of the first.

good and all as brolin was i don't think i've ever been so dissppointed in a film as i was with Sicario: Day Of The Soldado. i was proper hyped and looking forward to as the first is, imo, utterly brilliant. i still get depressed thinking about it........cheers for that :p
 
i saw Sicario at the cinema. thought it was not a very good film. the girlfriend didnt enjoy it much either.

get out, and take your gf with you. whilst i appreciate the medium of movies can be very subjective, thinking sicario is not a very good film is punishable by being shot with a ball of your own dung. :p
