What film did you watch last night?

Gladiator 2
Probably 6/10 at best.

It was a forgettable story, and the casting didn't seem strong enough. I'm not sure if it was just overshadowed by the original, but the overall scale of things just didn't get anywhere near the original. They should have just left it alone.

It is worth a watch but not a film you'll rewatch again unless you fell asleep during the first run though :)

I don't know what's wrong with you man, but you clearly need your eyes checked. Pablo pascal plays a superb pablo pascal in any production whereby he's called upon to play pablo pascal. In fact when fantastic four comes out, I extepect him to play the best mr fantastic pascal we've ever seen on screen.

I've just seen the new Wallace & Gromit on BBC 1.

I'm sure there is some CGI in this day and age, but it still looked visually faithful to its stop motion. It had some James Bond themes such as the bad guy stroking a fluffy white pet while sat in his Mastermind-style chair and the chases were Bond-esque. Still all very innocent though.

6.5/10

Paddington was something that the producers of the peter rabbit film needed to watch and then proceed to do two things:

1.) Not hire James Corden, as that was guaranteed to make me not want to watch the film
2.) Use it as a template on how to bring to film a beloved British institution and not offend entire generations of parents in particular with the monstrosity that you'd cooked up.

How James Corden gets airtime is beyond me.

True.

It's just you felt nothing for them. The character development just went they're in this one.
