What film did you watch last night?

Inception

Brilliant! Could have turned into a complete mess soooooooooo easily, but they managed to hold it all together pretty damn well 9/10

You just reminded me, I've got that movie and haven't watched it yet. I might do that later today. Probably after deal or no deal. :p

Restrepo - 7/10 - Decent Afghan War Documentary

I'll be watching that soon, I also seen Armadillo a few days ago which is about the Danish soldiers in the Helmand Province. There is a rather particular gruesome bit in there but suppose that's expected from a war documentary and apart from over the top editing in places I thought it was quite good.

Thanks haven't heard of Armadillo, will check it out :)

Don't laugh...

G.I. Joe - Rise of the Cobra.

Was in the mood to watch a crap film so I disconnected my brain and actually quite enjoyed the ridiculous action scenes and crap storyline. There are some hot chicks in it too.

Quite hilarious how they had an English American president :p

I'll give it 6/10 for a ridiculous comedic (not intentional) action film.

Oh 2012, what a nightmare, I didn't rate the film at all, and pondered for over an hour just how much they paid cusack to do something so terrible.

The CGI was awful, Bay awful, over the top, too much going on, ridiculous fake looking.
My wife was watcing with me and after 20 minutes she quit and went to bed, i thought I'd see it out thinking it couldn't get worse but amazingly it did. Shockingly bad film, poor acting, poor use of CGI, overuse of CGI, minimal plot, and no characters I remotely cared for.

It was just an awful movie.
1/10

Watched a fair few movies this weekend!

How To Train Your Dragon - 7/10
Thoroughly enjoyed this one although still not as good as Shrek IMO.

National Treasure - 7/10
I'm not sure why I like this movie. I watched it in the cinema and 4 or 5 times since it was released and it still draws my attention to it each time.

Shanghai Noon - 7/10
Owen Wilson can be annoying but overall I think this movie has more positives than negatives.

Shanghai Knights - 6/10
Not as good as Shanghai Noon IMO, it seemed to go further over the top trying to be funny.

The Forbidden Kingdom - 7/10
One of Jackie Chan's better movies in the past few years IMO.

K-PAX

Epic film as always, never fails to get you thinking no matter how many times you see it

Beowolf

Seen it before, I would have watched it though if I werent so tired but I went to bed and turned it off after an hour

I agree with was bad, but it wasn't THAT bad. I basically just switched my brain off today and watched it, and poked fun at it with my dad. 3/10
