The Man from Nowhere - Great movie very much in the vein of Man on Fire. Doesn't add anything new to the genre but what it does do is do the whole revenge movie very well. 8/10

Bigger than Life - Superb movie about the decent into drug addiction and the effects on a family. Shot in the 50s. 9/10

The Interceptor - Russian movie that was decent enough but the ending just seem to scream out SEQUAL. 6/10

Tron Legacy

Thought it was utter tosh, couldnt even be saved by the lovely Olivia.

The one saving grace would have been the soundtrack, but i even thought that was a bit meh.

Mars Attacks! - Classic 90's B Movie from Tim Burton, fantastically silly. Not aged badly either. I hadn't seen it since it in well over ten years but loved it all the way through. 5/5

Yeah I was quite surprised at how good that film was, one of the better action films lately.

I watched Limitless last night, again surprised at how good it was, an interesting film but has a **** ending ;\

The Spy Who Came In From The Cold. 8/10. Stars Richard Burton as a worn out spy. Considered the pre-James Bond, James Bond without gadgets. Pretty damned good. Also stars an actor who stars opposite Burton in Where Eagles Dare and a certain Bernard Lee, of future James Bond fame as 'M' also stars.

Just watched a film called pu-239, found it by accident after reading up on the recent nuclear events... noticed it had paddy considine in it so watched it (he's awesome). It's pretty good, enjoyed it

L'Audition - 7/10
Enjoyable French flick about a debt collector who is tired of beating folk up for a living and wants to turn his hand to acting.

True Grit - the new one. I really enjoyed it. It was beautifully shot and it had great dialogue, though Jeff Bridges' delivery was near impenetrable at times. It's still identifiably a Coen Brothers film, but it's played very straight, by and large.

Saw this at the weekend. Bridges was indeed a nightmare to understand. Had me craving subtitles at a few points. Good film though.
