Project X - 7/10

A properly fun High School party movie! Some might not like the handheld cam, but it's a party film. Not acted that well but who cares, it was fun.

Typical losers throw a party film, but this one focuses on the party, losers doing well, more partying, crazy party, boobs, more boobs, more high school boobs, even more boobs, and that's just the beginning of the party.

Well worth a watch just for the partying and boobies :D

Superman: The Movie. Probably not watched this since childhood. It was funnier and wittier than I remembered. Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman were both great. Really want to see Superman 2 now.
Get Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut! :)

Started watching the raid but got bored, so stuck on 24, season 3, right near end now :)

I have no idea how you got bored of The Raid... Amazing film.

Oh and I watched Batman Begins.

agree - just watched this last night as well - banging soundtrack and quite amusing but nothing amazing. Think Hangover for high school party film.

7/10 as well

How did the film hold up? My kids are really into Superman and want to watch the film, I was torn between showing them this and just waiting for the new one. I was unsure about this as I didn't want to ruin my own memories of this looking old and dated.

It still looks pretty good. I saw it on Blu Ray, but I imagine the DVD would still look very good. Sure, the flying isn't as good as in modern superhero films, but it's still impressive, and you can see where they're using models instead of CGI, but I don't think there's anything in there that will break your suspension of disbelief when you're already watching a superhero film!

+1. they still look ok IMO. luckily no early CGI to ruin things.

Thanks, put it on my Blockbuster list.

I need to get it quick as they are humming the theme music all the time (thanks to Lego Batman 2 - the theme plays as soon as you start flying if playing as superman!).

After watching the Olympic openeing ceremony I got a mass bond craving. Last night I watched:

Casino Royale
From Russia With Love

The latter has the best soundtrack of all the bond films imo, and a very dynamic plot - in my bond top 5. 8/10

Casino Royale is imo the best of the "newer generation" bond films since Goldeneye, quite long but Craig is soooo good in it, top film! 8.5/10

Probably find some random lost in the woods getting drunk having sex getting murdered sort of film to enjoy tonight... There are so many to chose from

Just finished episode 10 of the same season, absolutely loving it!

After playing some CoD WAW last night I had the urge to watch Enemy at the gates. One of my all time favourite war movies, don't really like Jude Law but love the film!

I'm watching 24 season 4 at the moment.

It's been a while since i've watch any 24. I can't believe how awful the acting and script are. You forget that if you have some time away.

Totally addicted though :D
