****ing brake caliper carrier bolts are good and seized on the front offside. The front is much rustier than the rears were.

Gave up, I'm sore. I'll ask the garage to free up those bolts when it goes for MOT retest.
Penetrating oil overnight and then smack the bolt head with a big hammer.
Then give it a go.
6 point socket not 12 point, breaker bar not ratchet. It'll come undone.

Yep, been topping up the penetrating oil every couple of hours. I should buy some proper Plusgas though.
No room for a breaker bar without having a lift annoyingly. It's got to go to the garage tomorrow anyway.
Not even with the steering at full lock?
No worries if its in tomorrow anyway I suppose!

Got a DCF921 but it wasn't having it, tried tightening a bit first etc... doesn't help I was on my drive and don't want to annoy the neighbours too much.
That's a good idea actually! Might have a look tomorrow depending on timing.
I've got a Kielder 18v one, the same ones they use at Bad Obsession Motorsport.
It hasn't failed me yet, even got the crank bolt out of my engine, but it did need a full battery to manage that.
Best £45 I ever spent. Just one of those batteries costs more than that new!

MOT passed. Stalled the git all the way there and back. I really need to get used to a manual again

Removed the 50:50 tail lights:
And installed the stock tail lights:
I think it looks way better now! The 50:50s just don't look right on a light colour.
And as a bonus, those 50:50s are like £300 imported, so I have some resale value there.
