Going to be interesting to see how you gearbox gets on :p

I haven't heard of many gearbox failures on these cars and I did change the gearbox oil last week. There are people on MPSOC running significantly more power (some over 400bhp) without any gearbox issues.

My biggest concern would be the rear diff as the standard mounts aren't the best. I won't be doing launches or going beyond much beyond 300bhp though so it should be fine. :)

Did this yesterday:-

Paid local garage with Hunter machine to fit more shims and make some changes to my settings and ensure all were where I wanted them, £106 lighter couple of hours later, well worth it to be honest. :)

Moved some foam in the wheel cavity as I put some soundproofing in and it was blocking cabin exit causing steaming up.

Just pulled speaker grill off to see what upgrade I could do and noticed it has aftermarket 13cm on a adapter rather than 16.5cm.... Bit of a fail so ill sort that next.

How come the camber is quite a bit different between the front wheels?

As everyone has already said, there is hardly any difference and an allignment and fitting of shims for £100 is a real good price considering we made some adjustments too. :)

Was a Hunter machine so pretty much the best and its a very local garage with top blokes. They were like we have no idea what makes a 911 turn well, so you stay here with us, tell us the settings you want and wheell get it to them.

They are actually a Jaguar specialist but they are one of the most cleanest and perfectionist of garages I've come across, infact the guy is a bit like Andy (Fuzz) from Powerstation, who won't do a poor job, everything gotta be spot on. So as they are 2 minutes from work, it is quite handy, as unfortunately Powerstation or Centre Gravity are both 1-2hrs from work, so its handy having a decent local allignment place.

There are 60 minutes in a degree ;)

Good point, it was late. 10th of a degree then :p What did you change anyway?

Although I have just checked mine and 1'45"-1'50" is on front so thats nearly 2 degrees.

Handy to have somewhere local, WIM is my closest and thet are 40min, Elite wheels in Reading won't adjust away from standard settings.
